The only "issues" so far are that the levers need to be pushed down firmly to engage and stay down. No "click" into place. The spring that pushes the toast/bagel up doesn't push up firmly and you need to push the lever up manually to retrieve smaller items. It's like the weight of the item keeps it down a little. Not So Great!

Beautiful retro look & well built

I believe, at this time, that you can just “trust the name” & go with it since it does not come up in any of the toaster reviews. Our last 4 slice was also a very well known upscale brand (started with a C) but it was terrible & only lasted 2 years before one side just quit.
