Would RecommendI was originally just looking for a new crockpot; but one that had an insert which could be placed on the stove top. This even eliminates that need. Everything can be done right in this well designed gem. It has a very appealing shape and even though it seems small it can cook a large slow cooker recipe beautifully. The light weight insert has a wonderful non stick surface and things just practically rinse off. This product is amazing!

Love my new multi cooker
Would RecommendI bought this multi cooker. Have used it quite often. Have used the yogurt feature quite a few times. Have made a few recipes from the online manual. Really like the stir tower makes the recipes much easier. I only have two complaints. I wish the recipes were in a book that you could have nearby the cooker to refer back to. I have the PDFs version on my iPad. Also, I have noticed that some of the instructions are a bit unclear. All in All though a very nice product

More useful than expected
Would RecommendMy husband had wanted us to purchase this but I balked as I wasn't quite sure how useful it would be (the lack of reviews and of documentation - such as cookbooks/recipes/suggestions - really hurt this product). But since buying it last month I have used it more than I would have thought possible. Part of that is due to our stove being inoperative at present, so finding just how useful this is (steaming veggies, making soups, slow cooking roasts, making rice...I'm about to see how it heats up fr...

Love the temperature controls
Would RecommendThis is my first "smart" slow cooker and I love the temperature control features. It can go from searing to very low heats and this flexibility is really nice. I don't have to brown meats separately and create another pan to clean. The insert cleans up beautifully and the shape of the slow cooker is nice. Not too big and not too small.

Takes the work out if stirring
Would RecommendNice big bowl, lots of features but it might take a bit of time getting used to all of the functions. Changing the temperature is not quite as easy as the outer box implies but, hopefully, I'll get used to that as well.

Love
Would RecommendLove this new amazing tool. It's great for any kitchen. Love the fact that I don't have to babysit the process.

Impractical
Would Not RecommendThis is a high priced gadget not for an experienced cook. It can do many things, but an experienced cook can do all of these things in less time and less need for attention. The searing option only allows for 4 oz. of meat or vegetables at a time. Why take the extra time to sear multiple batches for soup or stew when that can be done on your skillet or cast iron grill? The mechanical spoon mechanism is LOUD! The extra steps needed to use this appliance eliminates its usefulness. If you want a ri...

Love this cooker
Would RecommendI love this new cooker, it's not a slow cooker, or a braiser or a Dutch oven it's all this and more. It's a do all cooker. My only complaint is I wish they made a larger size

This is an awesome product!
Would RecommendOriginally I wanted this for making soups, but it does so much more. I rarely use my cooktop anymore. It can be used to braise meat, steam, boil, and slow cook. I use it almost every day. The only negative that I have found is that the cooking pot retains odors. Soaking with baking soda takes care of the problem.

Wish Kitchenaid had this 30years ago.
Would RecommendI was just shopping for a new slow cooker when I saw this in the Williams and Sonoma catalog. Couldn't resist and I am glad I couldn't.
