My new toy

Works like a charm with great ease! I am looking forward to the stirring arm accessorie. I have not received that yet. My only concern is that the insert pot is already chipping and I only use plastic utensils. I will monitor as the days go by. I use it twice a week, so I will know soon if the chipping stops.

Good looking

I have wanted a slow cooker for quite awhile. When I saw the multi cooker, I decided to purchase. I like the fact that I can brown meats in it before adding other ingredients. I expect I will use more as winter hits but so far I am happy with my purchase. It is also extremely attractive. I got the red one and it matches my KitchenAid mixer.

Problem with finish on removabable pot

I bought this pot in July 2015 and have used it 3 times. After the first use there was a tiny chip on the interior's finish. After each use new tiny scratches/chips have appeared. I have been extremely careful using silicone utensils. I do love this pot, but I am concerned about durability/safety/health issues with this finish.

Love the multi-modes

I do love all the cooking modes allowing you to do everything in the same pot from sauteing to slow cooking. The ceramic insert is so easy to pull out and clean. Great for soups, stews, and wings. Can't think of anything I cook that would not work in this cooker.

Worked great for 10 months

I use this at least a couple of times each month for slow cooked foods, yougurt, nut cheeses, etc. I love it. Unfortunately, at 10 months, the heating element started to go and I was left with a few lukewarm dinners when I got home and a risotto that never got off precook. Hoping Kitchen Aids no hassle guarantee is really no hassle because I shouldn't have to do a lot of shipping to get this fixed/replaced at this price.

Best Multi-Cooker Ever!

I bought this to replace my old Crock Pot slow cooker. I absolutely LOVE this multi-cooker. It can be used as a slow cooker and so much more. It is easy to operate and clean. I also purchased the stir station attachment with it. I will be using this for years to come. I cannot say enough good things about it.

Cheap finish on removeable pot

The second one I purchased has the same problem the first one had. The finish on the removeable pot comes off along the rim. I have used this two times and there is a few areas showing the silver which should be covered with the nonstick coating. Cheap coating. What has happened to KitchenAid? I will look for a better brand.

Great looking

I have used my multi cooker a couple of time since my purchase. It is easy to operate & works well. I had wanted a slow cooker for quite while, this one was so pretty I couldn't resist. Looking forward to receiving the cookbook and trying some actual slow cooker recipes.

Everything I wanted in a multi-cooker

I bought this six weeks ago after extensive research to replace a old, lost (and beloved) big box store slow cooker. I was using it within 10 minutes of unboxing it. It is simple to use, versatile and beautiful which is a bonus. Clean up is easy. I like the fact that that is a stir tower accessory to purchase as I step up my use of it. It has fast become my new beloved multi-cooker--well worth the investment to me.

So versatile! I love it!

I just love my new multi-cooker! I even leave it out on the counter all the time because I'm using it so frequently. Soups, sauces ,oatmeal, rice , risotto ....it does it all! I'm already craving more recipes so I can keep using it! And cleanup is an absolute sense with the coding that is on the bowl insert.

Exceeded my expectations!!!

I am 55 years old and am called the "gadget queen" by my family and friends and I have to say this is by far the BEST purchase I EVER made. Thank you Kitchenaid!

Nice Product

I've used the Multi-Cooker a number of times and find it to be a great product. I've all but eliminated the need to use pots and pans. I use it for everything. The bowl is easy to clean. I purchased the stainless steel model and find it difficult to keep clean as everything stains. I do have a suggestion for Kitchen aid.. why not include a cover for the heating element when removing the bowl with the stir tower attached? The tower usually has food on it and it tends to drip onto the heating ...

Risotto every week

I bought this because I thought it would make risotto much easier to prepare. It definitely is perfect for risotto. I am sure I will experiment with new combinations for my risotto. The other thing that worked great with this multi cooker was French onion soup. It turned out just perfect.

Multi-functional and easy to use

Picked this up for my wife's birthday. Presented it to her with its first meal. Beef stroganoff! It was just awesome and easy to use. She loves it, more meals to come...

I am waiting for you cook book. It has been over 8 weeks. Once I receive it I will try it. Can't understand the delay

Will be returning

Nice item, looks beautiful sitting on counter but each time you use it, you can't get the food smell out of the liner and paddles. I have washed by hand and repeatedly in the dishwasher with extra soap put it away with lid on it and when you open it back up to cook again, phew the smell. Kitchenaid's solution is to soak overnight in baking soda. Thats a nice idea and seems to work, but in my opinion, for this price, that shouldn't be necessary. Best Slow Cooker Available

We have had many of the heavy porcelain ones and that are heavy & cumbersome. They also scratch and damage things. The light weight cooker is great and even my wife can wash it easily. The multiple cooking functions are a breeze and the food turns out awesome every time.

So far so good

So far we are very happy with this product. We haven't yet used it as a steamer but it is great for rice and we did a large back of baked beans in the slow cooker function. It automatically turned itself off after 12 hours so still lots of a learning curve for it. Make sure you hang onto the instruction book :)

Fantastic product

I wish I would have purchased the white one because the silver one shows all fingerprints and stains immediately. But the product itself is amazing, it does the job and more. I recommended it to my friends and family and hope they will love it as much as I do.
