Lights Fail Within a couple of years

I bought this unit almost three years ago as a replacement to my subzero fridge. Unfortunately because of the price differential, I ignored the poor reviews on the products, which pointed to serious faulty lights - i.e., most lights dying out within 24 months. Fair, I was warned by previous buyers. Within 18 months, the lights in the freezer died. Within 30 months, all lights in the fridge died. 48 " Kitchen Aid Built in Fridge

It is so easy to reach and see items on the shelves because it is not as deep as most fridges.. The finish is Stainless Steel but it does not show fingerprints and the handles never show a handprint. So far I am very pleased with this item..

Love my KitchenAid Side by Side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for several months now. The look on the outside is always clean. On the inside refrigerator and freezer are very spacious. I ordered more freezer door bins only comes with 4 but refrigerator is so large it has space for two more. The temperature in refrigerator keeps veggies and fruits really fresh they seem to last longer.

Why Tamper With Success

Ice maker sucks

I've had to get my ice maker repaired every year I've owned it and now I've paid more into repair than buying a new standard fridge. Every tech has said there is a design flaw so out of luck for getting it repaired. What makes things worse is I'm being forced to pay to have the fridge pulled out with every call out. This doubles the price.

Just ok

Interior layout is not nearly as good or useful as my old Sub-Zero, awkward to store or find items. The bottom drawers are pretty to look at but less functional than they first appear. I'm sorry i didn't get another Sub-Zero

Overall good frig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this frig for over a month, the ice maker is awesome I love the flip up door that stays up as you get ice. There is plenty of storage space… one flaw… when the bottom storage bin is opened if the door is not fully opened the bin will hit the door seal on the bottom…. I can see having to replace the seal in the future…

BEST BUILT IN EVER

We looked at other brands...Miele,Thermador, Sub Zero and viking but came to good ole Kitchen Aid because it has more space than the other brands. Along with more space, the price and warranty you can't beat. We had our first one for 26.5 years and it was still running. We decided to buy this new one before the old one died on us.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We just renovated our home and ordered an entire KitchenAid package. The fridge after waiting 6 months for it. Did not work. Now two months in and three service appointments later the fridge still does not work.

New KitchenAid Built In Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're very happy with this fridge. It's a beautiful design with lots of space and we love the "smudge free" stainless steel. It's whisper quiet and seems very solidly manufactured. Our expectation is that it lasts 20+ years like our last KitchenAid built in fridge.

Better than I could have expected at this price.

Love the stainless steel finish, it's beautiful. You can't get better at this price point. I hope it's reliable, only time will tell. Previous kitchenaid appliances have been great so I'm sure this one will be as well.

Big is better!

No more hidden food, dim lights and lots of room for fresh produce! It was worth every penny and it was many of them so I’m hoping it stands the test of time as much as it’s beautiful to look at!
