Trash Compactor Still Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Kitchenaid trash compactor in our old house, so when we built our new home, we definitely wanted another one. Some people think it's old school, but it's efficient, clean and looks great.

Reliable product replacement for kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old KitchenAid compactor finally stop working after 15 years. The new KitchenAid compactor model KTTS505ESS fits in the original space under my countertop. I am happy with the design change and updated features this one has. I live in an area in Texas where there is no trash service so having this compactor is a must.

Looks great and is quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great features that I will probably never use (odor fan). I only put dry trash in my compactor (garbage disposer) and NO glass, since we recycle. My last compactor (Jenn Aire made by Whirlpool) lasted me 40 years. I expect the same quality service from this Kitchenaid also made by Whirlpool.

Great Trash Compactor

The interior controls make the front of the compactor very streamlined (the old model had the controls on the outside of the panel). The drawer rolls in and out very smoothly, and the foot control to compact the trash is a great feature! It's a bit quieter than the old model, but still quite noticeable when the compactor is run. Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the lock in down position feature, it helps the trash to stay compacted really well. On our old compactor we had to turn the key off and it was a guessing game on when to turn it off.
