Best Connector for Aluminum to Copper Wire

Repaired connections that had not been done correctly, and these worked perfectly. Problem solved.

10 pack price is more than 5 two packs

The price of the three lug ten pack is more than buying 5 three lug two packs. Silly pricing that makes no sense.

Very good, but requires a lot of space, limiting application.

Car part repair

Had to fix a headlight problem and used this to splice my wires then coated it with liquid electrical tape holds water tight way better than the watertight wire nuts.

Time saver

I had a short where someone had copper and aluminum touch. It took longer to find the correct breaker then to fix my issue.

Aluminum to copper junction

They work fine and are much better than wire nuts. The only problem is that 10 in a package is too many for a one splice repair.

Alumiconn wire connector

This was recommended for connecting aluminum house wiring to copper which otherwise if not used could cause a eventual corrosion and fire problem. It was easy to install on a new light installation, hoping it will prevent problems later.

Great and Easy to Use

The Alumiconn connectors are very easy to use and allow the easy connection between copper and aluminum wiring. I highly recommend these connectors. Easy to use, just follow the directions.

Great product for Al-Cu pig tailing

Must have a torque screw driver to use these properly. Easy to install in a standard outlet or switch box. We like these because Al and Cu do not touch and that is the entire point.

Great solution for aluminum wiring

Yes, they are expensive. But if you want a safe and easy solution for DIY work with aluminum wiring, this is the one. And they take about the same amount of room in a switch box as a twist connector.

Aluminum wire connector

Used for connecting aluminum and copper SOLID wire. Per manufacturer these are not for use with stranded aluminum wire even though one of their instructional videos clearly shows stranded wire

Work very well but terribly over priced

These work very well and are a very safe way to join copper to aluminum wiring. Very easy to use, very safe, very secure. My only complaint is that they are terribly over priced.

2-Pack Plastic Standard Wire Connectors

We have a home with aluminum wiring and I've avoided adding outlets or adding new lighting fixtures. This product makes it possible to add copper wire connections and has made everything much easier. The only downside is that it always seems to be hard to find or out of stock.

Super Solution

This product, exactly, solves the problem of connecting aluminum wire to copper wire. This is the 3 connector version. I only wish that Lowe's also stocked the 2 connector version.

Great Product for Old Wired Houses

It's tough to work with aluminum wire and copper wire together because of the way the aluminum wire heats up.. This product works better than typical aluminum to copper wire nuts...

A little pricey

These were exactly what I needed to install some ceiling fans and switches in a house with aluminum wiring. Other solutions were cost prohibitive (electrician required) or risky (wire nuts with anti corrosion gel). If these connectors were a couple of dollars cheaper, I would have given the 5 stars. I could find no better solution for my project.

Good idea

Great when you need a terminal strip instead of twisting and wire nuts. Great for #10 & #12 splices in an elec. box.
