What Customers Are Saying
The Alumiconn wire connectors are praised for their effectiveness in safely connecting aluminum and copper wiring. They are described as simple to install, with clear instructions and the need for a torque screwdriver to ensure proper tightening. While some find them pricey, the majority feel they are worth the cost for the safety and convenience they provide. Customers highlight the connectors' reliability, ease of use, and multi-port design that allows for connecting more than two wires. The main drawbacks mentioned are the higher cost and occasional availability issues, but most agree the connectors are a worthwhile investment for homes with aluminum wiring.

Great solution for drop in stove tops
Would RecommendPerfect solution for connecting drop in stove top to power supply. REMEMBER: ONLY ONE COLOR OF WIRE PER CONNECTOR (i.e. only blacks or only reds)!
Great Product
Would RecommendPerfect repair/splice of a supply feed line underneath my wife's she shed.
Works as advertised
Would Not RecommendWorks as advertised. Would like Lowes to carry two connector version, as I didn't need three wires.
does the trick
Would RecommendOnly thing that was frustrating about this was the fact that you need a torque screwdriver to tighten the screws on the wires. If you don’t have one, plan on spending upwards of $50 for a screwdriver you might not use too often.
Good idea - poor execution
Would Not RecommendI bought this at Lowes to connect 2 10 AWG stranded copper wires. What is not shown in the pictures is that the small screw that tightens on the wire is hemispherical at the bottom. As you tighten the screw, it pushes the wire out. I have tried several times - and have been unsuccessful. It may work for solid wire - but in my view a flat bottom would have been better. The other shortcomings are aluminum housing (so threads prone to stripping) and flat head screws (so harder to get tight).
Wiring Christmas lights
Would RecommendUsed this to put together some Christmas candy Cain lights. Worked great. Will use for years to come. Wire joints are sealed in grease. Water resistant. Better than multiple cords.
Easy to use
Would RecommendWhen I’m transitioning aluminum to copper wiring I prefer to use these. It gives great assurance that the connection is safe. This does require use of a torque driver to install in accordance with directions.
