I bought this in advance of picking out a new carpet so I can keep it free of stains. Tried it on an old stain on the old carpet as a test, and it did better than I expected, considering how long the stain had been there. The freshly cleaned area of still a bit damp, but that is to be expected. The only changes I would like so far are an increase in the size of the pour spout on the clean water tank, and I wish the hose was detachable so I could hang it up to dry. I'm hoping not to need it too...
