The old strainer assembly in my kitchen sink had been in use for many years and started leaking. After I got the old strainer out this new one went right in with no problems at all. Leak fixed.

works find. bought to replace a white plastic one that kept breaking (used three in a couple of months. a bit shiney, wish it had a more matte finish but it's great for the price and seals very well with litle effort.
