Make iron/steel version, please
I really liked the SlöRoller until i had great idea to leave the base in the Joe while burning off fat from the grates. At about 400C (750F) dome temperature, the aluminium changed shape and started to melt. If a cast iron (or steel) version had been available I would have bought it right away.

check size
Would Recommendmake sure which size you need for which grill. I initially ordered the wrong size without knowing it and was also Charged twice for 1 product ordered. This has caused a huge paperwork mess. My bank thought that this was a unauthorized order and placed a hold/ cancel on my order. Now I find out that I have been charged twice. No info on lowes website as to how to remedy this situation.

Would RecommendWell worth the investment. Bought this about 2 months ago and have used it several times to smoke pork shoulders and beef loins. The end result was absolutely delicious!! planning to do a beef brisket next.

Not enough good for Joe Classic 2
Would Not RecommendThe fit for the classic II is too tight. There is very little space for a drip pan. It provided good smoke, but using the original deflector plates for me has been very good. I have had 2 cooks with the sloRoller and not sure I will continue. Also there is already wear from the material it came with. I LOVE my Kamado Joe, but they missed on this one. I think they should have designed correctly to fit the classic II. Do not forget, it says in the advertisement that it fits the classic II but not ...
