Cast Iron cooks great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple of cooks getting used to my Kamado Joe, I wanted to do some smash burgers. I purchased the KJ reversable griddle and what a great addition. I use it as a partial divide and cook initially, then will smash and sear on the heated cast iron. It works great for burgers, steaks, and veggies. I've even grilled onions on it and wow, it really does a great job.

I've used this at least a dozen times and each time it heats evenly, cooks consistent and gives me just one more tool to make my Kamado Big Joe even more versatile.

Versatile and Delicious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has elevated my Kamado Joe game. I've been enjoying cooking using the cast iron attachment for anything from veggies to fish to pork tenderloin roulade to pineapple. Whether its searing at high temperatures or cooking at low temps, it works. Mostly use the flat side, but the slotted side would be useful for searing steaks.

Hulk smash burger!

The reversible griddle makes smash burgers a breeze. My kids love the seared and juicy burgers, and I love how easy they are to turn out for the family. The griddle is easy to clean and store, and I can see this thing outlasting me no question. Great product!
