Good product much superior to the original kilz

Worst primer I have ever used.

This product is not for use on fresh drywall or old paint. It will peel off. Use only on wood or brick.

Blocks Old Stained Woodwork

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose Kilz 3 to block old “Colonial 1980s” stained woodwork. Brushed and rolled stair risers and trim with 2 light coats of Kilz 3 and only needed one coat of semigloss to cover with no bleed through or shadows. I used a different brand primer on doors and it took 2 coats of their primer and 3 topcoats to cover. Kilz 3 has no odor, is not drippy when applied, and results in a very smooth finish. Very pleased with new look on our main stairs...

Kilz 3 Premium easily seals in 1 coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I renovated an old fiberglass basketball backboard I installed for my boys over 20 years ago. I sanded down the backboard with 120 grit and washed it with soapy water, then proceeded to rinse and dry. After applying the Kilz 3 primer with a brush and fine nap roller, I allowed it to dry and cure a few days before testing the adhesion. It's just primer! Yea, great primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was dealing with surfactant leaching and tannin bleed through on the underside of a back porch roof, tried 2 other primers and they did nothing. this stuff gave me complete hide and the top coat seemed to go on smoother as well. Finally a primer that is worth the cost.
