Very accurate level

This review is for the 78" Johnson level with 5 bubbles. I first set up my laser level to scan a line across this level so I could make certain they were both on the same plane. That looked good and both horizontal bubbles were centered in their vials. I then added a 1/8" spacer under one end of the level. This caused both horizontal bubbles to just barely touch up against the bubble lines on the glass. This sensitivity makes it so much easier to read than other levels and I can actually trust ...

The extra length makes a difference!

I've had a 4-foot level for years and years. Never knew I was "making do" with just 4 feet. Doing a re-flooring project in an old house (1800's), the floor joists are not evenly dispersed over 4 feet (some are as little as 12 inches apart, others almost 24), so my level was short on a few spans. I got the longer one, and it covers all gaps, despite the differences in spacing. This six foot level is perfect for the jobs I am doing, and for future jobs.

Best level I've ever owned

I kept buy cheap plastic ones that kept breaking. This johnson level is solid and magnetic

No ruler

I wish it had a measurement imprinted on the edge like the cheap ones do. I use it as a straight edge when marking plywood and the ruler really helps save time.

Great level

Very solid level and was exactly what I needed for my project. The magnetic strip is a great feature and can in handy. The bubble windows are crystal-clear and very easy to read. I highly recommend this level.
