Would RecommendI own a 12" level...and I'm sure I could have rigid something together for this raised garden bed project, but when working with concrete, mortar, and blocks...it isn't a smart idea to risk with materials that are so sensitive to time and when level is SO important to a successful outcome. The Johnson 4' level made checking, rechecking, and double checking easy and fast, which, allowed me to focus on laying down mud (mortar) and block.

Great price and quality
I was dubious because of the low price for this level, but when I read the reviews I was convinced and bought one, and I'll say I am not disappointed. This level does the job without the price tag of more expensive levels. Works perfectly for homeowner project and that pretty much describes what I do. I would recommend this to anyone.
