Bagger system is poor quality
Would Not RecommendLid system does not go up high enough, grass spits up at your feet like popcorn because the deck attachment is not tight. Bagger slides get full of clippings.

Cheap and ill fitting design
Would Not RecommendHad to use pipe insulation on the deck attachment to stop it from blowing grass upwards on my feet. When emptying the bags grass gets in the slides. Make sure you clean out the slides and the notch on the back or the bag will not fit tight and grass spits out behind you. Grass spits put where the chute goes into the bagger. Top of the bagger needs to open wider. Hate the bagger.

I had to order a a riding lawnmower 3 times. The first two times my order was cancelled because the one I wanted wasn’t in stock apparently even tho they went in the back to double check. 3rd time I ended up having to get a more expensive model that they had in stock. Gave me $280 off it but I’m still spending $1000 more than what i originally had wanted. Just felt like I was tricked into getting a more expensive model.

Would RecommendI got an excellent delivery today! This is my first John Deere experience, and I am delighted. This attachment fit on my new JD 170 without a problem. Just Follow the Directions. That being said, I used it while the grass was not completely dry and I mowed a little too fast and a little too low.
