Great bagging system!

Works as advertised as long as you use the blades supplied with it. The directions say they are not required but they most certainly are. The factory blades to not create enough lift to send the grass clippings to the collection bins. USE THE SUPPLIED BLADES👍🏻👍🏻

Good so far, big test will be in the fall with leaves. Have 4 stars as I feel like the bags are cheap and will break easily

Easy to assemble, works great even without changing the blades.

Didn’t receive all parts.

Received the two bag unit with only one bag. Was told by Lowe’s that it comes straight from manufacturer. Box received came open with Lowe’s tape all over it. Decided not to deal with them anymore and contacted John Deere. John Deere rep was very helpful and sent the second bag.

Horrible design. I do not like this bagger. It's very hard to empty. You can't put bags in them to speed up emptying. Even the handle on the bottom of the bags is clocked wrong to hold it properly. I'm going to retrofit my old bagger off of my 25 year old craftsman tractor onto my brand new 2023 john deere... yes I dislike it that much.

Difficult to empty

The hardest part of assembly was jacking it up to change the blades. The chute doesn't seal to the deck very good allowing grass to blow out onto the deck and your foot. I don't like the way the lid only goes up a few inches making it hard to get a full bag out. My main gripe is that the bags are small, and hard to empty. Instead of the bag being bigger on the top than the bottom it is the same size top to bottom. So what happens is the main bag fills first packing the grass in tight before it s...
