Trips breaker

I have now have gone through two disposals in five weeks. The disposal intermittently trips the breaker. We have swapped to other outlet/breakers and the unit still trips the breaker. Not impressed at all and would not recommend. I gave innovation a "1" simply because this does not work.

Septic Disposal not working as advertised

After 6 months of use, the Septic infusion liquid is not being sprayed as advertised. Can not figure out why it is not working.

Quiet yet powerful

The disposal is fairly quiet. Haven’t had any issues other than the hardwired cord was slightly too short.

Disappointed

VERY disappointed in the system. My previous garbage disposal was a kitchen aid and my plumber recommended purchasing an insinkerator for our new home. I could not be anymore disappointed in this system. I don’t have near the power with this one that I did in my kitchen aid system. Very disappointing

Good So Far

We've only had a few weeks and like it so far. Very quiet compared to the Kitchenaide it replaced. Disappointed Lowes install team couldn't install because we didn't have a electrical plug. Our old disposal was hardwired and I wasn't putting in a plug when not needed. We hired a local plumber and he installed for $185.

Very easy to install and works great.

I replaced 10 year old identical disposal system that kept getting frozen and require tapping/hitting to get it to spin. Very easy to replace.

Quiet and Powerful

I replaced a 20 year old Insinkerator septic assist unit with the Evolution Septic Assist. As a direct replacement it was a breeze to install. It has evolved with better grinding features and is comparably quiet.

Can be used with a septic system.

This disposal is quiet, efficient and a great improvement over my last disposal.

Solid product

This was recommended by our kitchen supply company it was installed by the plumber. The only hiccup was that it was not and the enclosed instructions only showed the one reset button when there were actually two that needed to be pushed

Love the way this product runs so quietlly and does a good job grinding up food.

Garbage disposal replacement

I had to have my previous garbage disposal replaced and the plumber put in a new Insinkerator. I am pleased with its operation. It is much more quiet than my previous one and does a good job in clearing away food waste. I was unaware of which brand was chosen by my installer, but I’m pleased with its operation.

Worth considering.

Product is great for homes with septic systems. Be careful during cartridge installation, had failures in this area prior. The bio product would not inject.

Great Disposal, same Model lasted 16 years.

This InSinkerator Evolution Septic Assist Food Waste Disposer was last installed in January 2008. Just had to replace with same model after 16 years. Recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and efficient disposal.

A great machine for folks with septic tanks. Handles just about anything but a steel bar. Quality and reliability are tops. You can't go wrong with this product.

Super quiet, great performance and no stink

We remodeled our kitchen and upgraded our disposal to the septic model. It is very quiet and performs great. The enzymes keep it from smelling and we no longer have to add another product to our septic tank.

Great sink disposal

We finally needed to replace our 20-year-old incinerator. Given how reliable it was, we went for the same brand. This new one is terrific. I particularly like how quiet it is compared to the old model, and the removable rubber piece between the sink and the grinder makes it much easier to clean!

Love the Evo line

Our last house I had installed an Evo it was quiet and worked great. Fast forward a few years, we had bought a new (to us) home out in the country. And one thing that worried me was the cheap looking garbage disposal under the sink. (The wife is good about letting silverware go down in and not checking). This is the top of the line - quiet, super efficient, and has the septic assist

This is our third Insinkerator disposal product we've installed with our various remodels over the past 5 years. We absolutely love it. Did all our research on using an in-sink disposal like this with a septic system, and even talked to a very respectable septic maintenance company for an opinion. Good for septic systems

We’ve had this product for about two months. Th plumber who installed it was happy to see the septic assist on it since we do have a septic system. So far, it works well and is not that noisy. We are happy with our purchase.

You can use it even when you have a septic tank!
