Quite happy with it.

I am pretty handy but not a pro and I removed and replaced the disposal in two hours flat, including wiring the plug cable. The unit is surprisingly quiet though this is the middle end not the higher end model; that one is nearly silent (the big box store had recordings of the sounds!). We are still testing the limits of what it chews up but being practical too by not testing it to fail...we will leave that to the folks at the lab.

Love the features of this product

This disposal is very quiet and works beautifully. The main thing that I really like is the removable gasket allowing full view of the bottom of the disposal to make sure all of the waste was is gone.

Good unit but seems a little expensive for the quality.

Unit seems to be good but also is a little more expensive for what you get. Unit was easy to install but I don't like the way the drain connects to the unit. It seals but is not a good strong connection.

So far, after having this disposal for two months I would buy it again. Price was really good and is really a quiet disposal.

This product delivers on its promises

Love the quietness and quality of this product. Worth the cost. We'd purchase again, but would have a professional install it! Just be aware: It's a difficult install for novices. You'll need to secure EXTRA well. We didn't know this and had to reinstall due to leaking tube that pulled away from attachment position. Also, if you live in an older home, make sure your breaker system accommodates this newer model.

Very very quiet... Works great!!! Easy to install!

QUIET, BUT POWERFUL!

I had no problem with the installation. It's very quiet. When I first turned it on my wife thought it wasn't working. She didn't believe it was until I pushed open the rubber flap so she could see it moving and hear it working. Like some others have commented, the rubber flap takes some getting used to (compared to the one on our old unit). It seems to reduce the speed of the water and food particles entering the unit, but pushing down on the flap does the trick.

My husband and I are very pleased with our Evolution Premier Insinkerator disposal. The quiet and very efficient operation is so impressive. We had a plumber install it and before he did, he told us that we would be pleased. Great reputation - great product!

The Quiet Consumer

This disposal is exceptionally quiet and easily gobbles up all forms of waste. We've only had it a month, but are very happy with its performance. It is much quieter than the heavily insulated Waste King it replaced.

Simple to install, nearly silent in operation, excellent purchase.

The disposal was very easy to install. I removed the old one and the new one attached under the sink with no problems. No problems with the hook ups.

I had an insinkerator previously for many years, and I was pleased with it's durability. The only issue was it was noisy, but I learned to live with it. When it finally decided to quit, we bought the higher priced model Evolution Premier and at first, thought we should have purchased the same as before. I installed the unit, and was amazed at how quiet it is, I mean it barely makes a sound. The unit is a work horse, no more slowly feeding scraps like the other one, this one gets rid of waste ...

Great product for the money.

This unit replaced an ISE so installation was very easy. Just change the power cord. Very quite and gets the job done.

Good product - while it works!

I had to replace my installed Insinkerator due to its failure in only 7 years (used only 6 months each year and then only once per week). This did not set well with me; I was close to selecting another brand as a replacement but decided to give Insinkedrator another chance. If this one fails prematurely (in my mind) then I have bought my last Insinkerator product.

Nice unit!

I was replacing an older Insinkerator 444 which had a cracked housing, with this unit. The 444 was similar to the "Badger " series today. The Evolution Premier unit went in easy, is super quiet, and seems to really do the job! Time will tell how reliable this unit is, but I wouldn't think of going with anything but an Insinkerator ... The quality, ease of install and value are beyond compare!

Premier is Quiet

Installation was easy. This was my 3rd Insinkerator installation over 25 years. Not much has changed.

VERY QUIET FOR BEING SO POWERFUL!

Had one for 12 years and finally had to replace as it started leak from the bottom. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for QUALITY, NOISE REDUCTION, and durability.

During a kitchen remodel, we replaced and upgraded our disposal. Although the old one was very good (or so I thought), this one is amazing. It's quiet, no crazy vibrations, and, with the dual blades, very quick and efficient - no more wondering if it all went down the drain, I highly recommend the Evolution Premier.
