So quiet I thought I had not installed it correctly

Summary says it all. It was easy to install and is amazingly quiet to the point where I wondered if I had not installed it right. Way beyond my expectations.

Quiet and Efficient

I have always had a garburator, this one is by far the best. Quiet and efficient, chews it up and spits it out!

Fantastic disposal!

This is an absolutely wonderful disposal. Quiet, compact, powerful, heck it even looks good under the sink. Installation was simple and the kit provides everything you could need. Very happy with this purchase!

Whisper quiet

This unit is so quiet that if your water is running you may forget to turn it off. Disposers have come a long way!

Noisier than Expected, Very Disappointed

I had another Incinerator that had the blades wear down only after 3 years of use ( we are only 2 people), but it was QUIET. Replaced it with same model unit but this one is MUCH louder and I could not have known that before I paid a plumber to do the installation. VERY DISAPPOINTED. They must be making things cheaper but selling them for more.

Works great

We replaced a 9-year-old Evolution Essential with a new version of the same thing, and are happy with it. Of course I wish it had lasted more than 9 years. We had a plumber install it, which was fortunate as the one we bought did not come with a power cord (? not mentioned in the ad when I bought it online), so he had to use the old one. Let's just say it wouldn't have gone as smoothly if I'd had to figure that out. Powerful, reasonably quiet.

Great product. Easy to install. Exceptionally quiet.

This is an excellent product. I'm glad I purchased a model in the quit series. It is truly a powerful and quiet disposal. The only issue I have so far is that the rubber cover in the drain causes the sink to drain slowly. You have to push down on the rubber cover so that food particles go into the disposer drain.

Can’t be happier with this product. It does what it’s suppose to. Not super noisy.

Dependable

We replaced our old InsinkErator with one that was quieter. The old one still worked but was noisy while the newer ones are quieter.

Easy install and quiet operation.

I wasn't sold on the air switch idea, but after having it I would never go back to the old light switch method. Would highly recommend this model you hardly know when it is running.

Quiet powerful disposal

Plumber installed it and seemed to have no trouble. It's so quiet we almost don't hear it, compared to grinding up ball bearings sound in our old one. Push button on/off switch is a great convenience

We had a new Insinkerator installed in our last house. It worked flawlessly for 20 years. We just installed the Evolution Essential in a new house. It is more powerful, guieter and has an air switch. What's not to like?

Awesome

This is top-line efficient & quiet! I've had numerous disposals over the years. They all eventually rotted out in the bottom! This one has stainless steel internally and won't be rusting out! Plus it has a larger capacity so it's less likely to plug up die to feeding to much too fast! I love it & highly recommend it!

Very quiet, disposes of items that I would not have considered putting in other disposers

The Essential XTR is amazingly quiet. When I first turned it on, I had to look insided to make sure the impeller was spinning. It easly disposes of items that would not go down well with other disposers, like banana peels, chicken bones, grape pedicels, chunks of meat, etc. It was relatively easy to install, mechanically and electrically. The plumbing was not as easy because of the discharge tube port. I ended up having to buy a longer tube at a hardware store and then modifying the flange. It w...
