Quiet and efficient!

Haven’t used extensively since our kitchen is still in the rebuild process, but so far it has worked flawlessly. It is very quiet and is effective at grinding everything we have disposed in it.

Pluses and Minuses

My original insinkerator was about 15 years old and started leaking. I purchased this one because it said it was quieter. I was trying to be considerate to the people who live below me. It is definitely much much quieter, but I was told that the majority is because the rubber sink insert pretty much covers the entire drain hole so the sink drains very very slowly unless you stick your finger in the swill so the rubber insert opens more. Quiet and Efficient

DId a kitchen remodel which included a new disposer. It is extremely quiet when in use. Best one I ever had. I elected not to install the push button switch. Even though you can put chicken bones and the like through it, I don't do that just because I've never done that. Perhaps I'll try with this one sometime.

Quiet and effective

We replaced an Insinkerator model which came with our home when we moved in back in 2008. This model is higher HP and better technology and best of all quiet. It was easy to install and has worked very well on all foods we put down it. (The only things I won’t grind up are bones (though manual says it’s okay); shrimp shells (bad prior experience); and corn silk. All other food gets chopped up like it should and no complaints! Installed June 2021

Excellent product..a replacement for earlier model

Our previous incinerator lasted for 16+ years and we were very happy with it. This newer model is quieter and works extremely well. We are expecting to get similar longevity with this recently purchased model.

Insinkerator Review

The insinkerator is working very effectively. It was relatively easy to install and is working like a dream.

Easy to install

This product was amazingly easy to install. My husband and I did it fairly quickly. Results are a amazingly quiet disposer. Very pleased with the product.

Works well with average noise content

Installation was a bit challenging but did not take too long. Force of performance is very good.

Disposal is excellent, installation is impossible.

Installation was impossible to do. Had to hire a plumber to connect the disposal to the collar. There has to be a better way of engineering this connection.

Very Quiet

This model is very, very quiet. It is also a beast at grinding up tuff waste with its two stage grinding system.

Just flawless

I replaced my old Kenmore disposer. My counter used to shake each time I used my old disposer. With InSinkErator - I can barely here it works, let alone feel any vibrations. Such a smooth and quite operation. I didn't install it myself as it was installed by the contractor during the renovation. However, it felt solid and very well made. I am very happy with it.

great disposal. puts my old one to shame and is VERY quiet. the water is usually louder than the disposal. Great purchase so far.

Quiet Plus

This is absolutely the quietest disposal I have ever used. Visitors to our home ask what kind it is so that they can purchase one when their current one fails.

Overall, A Good Buy

Fairly easy to install. Very quiet, considering it is a garbage disposal. It can be difficult to get the food through the gasket and down into the disposal. You must have some type of utensil to push the food into the disposal. Other than than, it all works well. The score for "innovation" is irrelevant. Innovation is an overused buzzword in the corporate world. It is basically synonymous with ingenuity. I really don't see anything "innovative" about this product. It grinds food and takes it awa...

Almost too quiet!

If your family is accustomed to and annoyed at having to pause their television program in the next room when you run the garbage disposal (because it is so loud), then you will love how quiet this product is. I wonder though, how quiet is quiet enough? This thing is so quiet I can barely hear it over the sound of the water coming out of the faucet; I can forget that it is running sometimes.
