Could not believe the unit was running it was so QUIET!!!

Installation was very easy. The disposal locked into place without any trouble, but I did have to hold it up with scissor jack to install. The 3 position magnetic stopper works extremely well. The best feature of this disposal is how quiet it is. We had a Kitchen Aid disposal for 44 years and it was a great quality product. This Insinkerator outshines it hands down. I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!

Excellent, as expected

In working as a plumber throughout my 20’s, I have fairly extensive experience with Insinkerator disposals, and will gladly say they are generally amazing products. They do make cheaper models that will last as long as something in their price point should, but the stainless models are extremely long-lived. Best disposer out there

Mounts at all attachment points are rubber, which minimizes sound and vibration, and also adds to ease of installation. Quietest disposer I have ever used of the four I have owned over the years. I was concerned 3/4 hp was not enough power as I was replacing a failed 1 1/4 hp unit from a different manufacturer, but no worries. Easy to install and very quiet

I was replacing another Insinkerator Disposer and was glad that the under sink fitting did not need to be replaced. The new model is so quiet and the stopper/activator is much improved from my previous model. Poirier Appliances were very knowledgeable on the brand and helped me compare this model to other Insinkerator models in their showroom. Very happy customer!

This is our second Insinkerator because it wore out

We are happy with the performance and how quiet it is. We are also happier with how you operate starting it versus the magnetic plastic one.

We had an old disposal we were replacing and this one is perfect.

We were looking for a batch feed disposal like our old disposal, and this one is very similar and appears to be as heavy duty.

Great but with a big caveat

CoverStart is more of a pain than I thought it would be. I want yo clean my sink and use the disposal at the same time. I also don't want to take the cover out completely because I could easily lose cutlery and not be able to reach it. That said, it does work well and runs quieter than a dishwasher. If I had it all to do again I'd likely just buy a replacement 444 instead.

I like the magnetic cap.

I like disposals with magnetic caps. Also, I very much like the cap that seals well to keep water in the sink. It would be nice to have a membrane such that you cannot see all the way down to the blades when the cap isn’t blocking the view down into the disposal

La Cosina

This is the first batch garbage disposal installed and used in our home. This unit gives me peace of mind that everything will get ground up to the point that drain line clogs will not be a problem. Love the unit and the innovative power switch built into the cover.

Good replacement for an old KitchenAid

Happy to find a batch feed disposer that works better than my old one. A bit quieter and more efficient. Unfortunately, the drain opening is so large and there's no available splashguard, so objects easily fall into the drain/disposer. I've pulled out a small glass jar, a small measuring cup, silverware and measuring spoons. I purchased a strainer which defeats the purpose of the disposal since I have to empty those contents into the drain and wash it.

Need warranty replacement - local appliance company recommended by Insinkerator has not been able to get!

I have not been able to use it. Not working. Waiting on warranty replacement. Can someone expedite!

Evolution cover control plus

This is a great disposal. Actually this is my third insinkerator garbage disposal. The first two lasted over 14 years. On this one the Stopper fell apart in less than a year. Customer service said they would sent me a new part only Once. Really what kind of warranty is this ? I thought it was until 3/2027. This is definitely a quality issue. Excellent product

Replaced my 10 year old unit with a new one. This is the best product hands down on the market. The sound of new unit is a big improvement vs the old one. Nice job

Does not seal drain

I have a one hole sink and the plug does not seal so I cannot fill the sink with water

Nice and quite, but getting wet

The product functions great. The only issue is when you pull the plug to drain the sink, with out the disposal running, it splashes water back up the drain. We add an additional vent under the sink to see if that helped but it did not. It splashed up through the disposal enough to get the counter wet at times. Anyone else have the issue?
