Excellent product

Replaced my 10 year old unit with a new one. This is the best product hands down on the market. The sound of new unit is a big improvement vs the old one. Nice job

Does not seal drain

I have a one hole sink and the plug does not seal so I cannot fill the sink with water

Nice and quite, but getting wet

The product functions great. The only issue is when you pull the plug to drain the sink, with out the disposal running, it splashes water back up the drain. We add an additional vent under the sink to see if that helped but it did not. It splashed up through the disposal enough to get the counter wet at times. Anyone else have the issue?

Much quieter than old unit

Very pleased with my new insinkerator. It is quiet and fast. Seems to be able to grind all waste. Much better overall than old model.

This garburator works very well. It is more powerful than my original one. I like the in drain control. It is still a bit noisy - maybe slightly more quiet than my first one. But I still enjoy having it !

I love it! Super quiet yet powerful.

I love this product; it is super quiet, powerful and safe. The cover is not the best to just let water flow when the device is not being used. I bought a regular cover (not the magnetic one) from Insinkerator and works very good. I just swap cover when I am to use the device. Once it started shaking a lot. I called Insinkerator and service was great. They guided me to resolve the issue and were ready to send a technician. At the end it resolved.

Handle is heavier than last one & harder to line up contact fir usage.

What a difference

My Insinkerator Badger series finally broke after 25 years of use. I upgraded to the Evolution Cover Control Plus. This disposal is so quiet you hardly know it's grinding. The improvements over the years are amazing. I highly recommend this product.

Not for those who like continuous feed models

The building supply shortages has affected the models available. None of the higher HP ones were in stock. The covered control model was the only one with 5/8 HP. I prefer continuous feed. But had to settle for this item. It is a good disposer, but I don't care for the covered control.

Great unit. Large body

Would never install an Insinkerator without the magnetic turn cover to keep food debris inside the sink during activation of the unit. Very quiet but with added insulation it is a bigger unit for under the sink. Leaves less room for storage but still a great unit.

Great product but…

Replaced existing 12 year old Insinkerator Cover Control Pro due to switch failure. Did not have to install new mount to sink but the garburator height dimensions were different. The drain sits about 2-1/4” lower which required plumbing changes to the drain connection.

The integrated trigger switch on my 15+ year old Insinkerator 17 batch disposal finally gave up the ghost and I was looking for a replacement that would minimize the installation effort. This model used the same flange (I didn't have to change) and the height (depth) of the exit pipe was exactly the same, so it paired right up to my existing plumbing. Two BIG changes. Excellent unit

As I’ve come to expect from Insinkerstor, straightforward installation, top quality, perfect unit.

Great Product!

Disposal is as advertised, very quiet, works better than any previous disposal. I have always had a batch feed disposal but never knew one could have these kind of features - no longer does the cover collect debris, hardly hear it running, and the safety feature of only working when covered is worth the peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Less satisfactory than a previous version

Clumsy metal stopper/switch is awkward and inconsistent in engagement. Lack of a rubber noise baffle is less desirable. Overall, a disappointment. Would not recommend if an older version can be repaired or located.

I have bought a lot of garbages dispoeals and installed a lot. This one seems to have more power and is very quite.

Best Insinkerator yet

This is the latest in a long line of Insinkerator's we have had. So far, it is the best. This is a batch feed model so the on switch is in the cover. This is the first time we have had a magnetic switch rather than a mechanical one and it works very well. This is the quietest model ever. We are able to talk in a regular voice when it is running. It grinds a little slower than our old one did, but that is because it has 2 stage grinding so the food is ground up much finer than in our last one. Ou...

Great design

This new insinkerator is the most quiet disposal I have ever had. The plumber had no trouble installing it. The new magnet control is great, with no moving parts to get jammed up.
