Nice and wuiet

Product works well, nice and quiet as our previous one was pretty loud when in operation. Have only had it a couple of months but so far no complaints about this unit at all

Should have bought one years ago

The 3/4 HP has plenty of power. It can easily crush egg shells, peelings of all vegetables, corn cobs, chicken and rib bones, banana peels and a host of other food items. It takes usually just seconds to reduce all items to pulp. Our garbage now doesn't smell, especially in summer. This product is well worth the money.

5th insinkerator disposer I’ve owned!

Love these disposers, currently have 3 installed in out house and had to replace a 20 year old main kitchen disposer since the batch feed switch was sticking and they were no longer available since magnets are the new norm. After replacing the Badger 17 we were so impressed with low noise levels we decided to replace another high use disposer in the island to lower noise, unit was operating perfectly after 20 years and will be donated for reuse! Love these new magnetic batch feeds!

Strong Unit

This is a replacement for a 16 year old Insinkerator Evolution. It literally popped into the old bracket after a simple rewire. Did have to adjust pipes a bit. only thing I noticed was the new activation top is a little tricky to seat and turn for activation of the unit. Perhaps I should have replaced bracket? Not hard to work the unit, just have to seat the top just so before it will work.

Our previous disposal, also an Insinkerator, had recently died and the plumber confirmed that. Replaced 20 year old InSinkErator

New model has magnetic, not mechanical switch like older models. Very quiet. Mechanical switch broke on old model (after over 20 years). Decided I wanted to upgrade to new technology rather than fix a 20 year old unit.

So much better than my old Insinkerator

Just replaced my old unit with the newest Insinkerator! So many improvements. Love the way it works and it is super fast and efficient. Much easier to keep clean with new design. No more yucky rubber flaps that were impossible to clean. Stopper easier to engage and the stainless steel much easier to keep clean! Love this new unit !!!

Excellent Product

This disposal replaced one that I installed about 20 years ago of the same brand that still functioned, but the actuator switch was faulty. This disposal was easy to install, and works great and is quieter than the one it replaced. The new on off switch is much easier to use and is magnetic. Now I get to see how much iron is coming through the pipes from the city water. Overall very satisfied and glad I stayed with the Insinkerator brand!

General

There was no rubber "diaphragm" which covered the drain hole. I had to ask for one and now in order to use the disposal, I have to remove the cover. This doesn't make any sense

Gone In Two Seconds

So glad to have new easy to use and quiet garbage disposal. It was great how it fit right in the space of the old garbage disposal with no plumber modifications needed.

The no switch idea is a real safety feature... Very quiet.

I love every thing about it except the ability to arrange the drain so that it will allow it to drain when not not in use unless you leave it above the rim . I can live with that.

Excellent Customer Service

I bought an Insinkerator Evolution Cover Control waste disposer in 2015. After 5+ years, the rubber on the cover wore out and separated from the cover. Thanks to the 7 year warranty, I just had to call Customer Service (very nice / very helpful) and the representative sent me a new cover. I received it in less than a week.

Replaced old insinkerator and once installed very pleased.

It was easy to remove old insinkerator but very difficult to place new one until my wife suggested using our car jack to force and hold up the new one in place. After that it was easy and worked great. Suggest you advise people to use car jack to hold new insinkerator in position and much stress will be reduced.

I bought this to replace a 25-year-old Kitchen Aid which also had a magnetic cover switch. The new unit is much quiter, seems equally powerful, and is doing a great job. I like the safety provided by the magnetic control. Installation was very straightforward. No complaints.

Very quiet and sturdy

This replaced a 12 year old GE Disposall which vibrated the counter and had a loud whining noise. The replacement Insinkerator is almost silent and still grinds up everything. The difference is night and day. I love it. Plus, it was a breeze to install myself.

Quietly Goes About Its Work

Works as a disposal should, and does it quietly. The only drawback is the in-sink cap to turn on/off the unit never seems to sit correctly to allow water through when not in use - always have to fiddle with it.

Safety

Besides doing an excellent job, recently a metal measuring spoon went into the unit. One of the features is the magnetic disabling feature, amazing!
