More than I expected

When I was forced to purchase another garbage disposal I purchased the only one they sold that fits lol my needs. After installation I was pleasantly surprised at how well and easy the disposal Ran into specially how quiet it operates.

Safe and quiet!

I love this garbage disposal! The cover must be locked in to turn on the disposal, which is a great safety feature. It is also very quiet!

The product is quiet.

The hardest part of installation, was removing the old disposer, which had been there for 45 years. The instructions were very clear which made installing of the new one easy.

Great disposal!

Works great. We have small children and this is total piece of mind that no accidents can happen. Grinds everything we put down there and is very quiet. Bought because of a friend’s recommendation and love it.

BOUGT TO REPLACE OLD MODEL

Love everything about it EXCEPT that if you place the topper back straight it becomes a sink plug. For water to stll flow down like a regular sink the topper has to be tilted

Good features, easy to operate, quite, and drains well

Game Changing

30 years ago our disposal broke at our beach house and the plumber told my mother that a new one would not hold up in the salt air environment. after three decades of scraping plates and clogging the sink, my son and I bought this one and installed it without asking. This one was more expensive but I didn't want to deal with wiring a switch because the plug outlet was there. First time installing and we did it on under 2 hours. 7 year warranty and my mother, wife and entire family is delighted.

Hard to turn on

to use, you must get the cover in just the right position or else it will not turn on or off

Quiet and efficient

I was replacing a very old Insinkerator product, so installation was a breeze. My older unit was a cover control model and I replaced with the same. I really like not having to wire a switch to turn it on and off. This new unit is so quiet, it’s hard to tell that it is even running. Highly rated by Consumer Reports as well. If this unit lasts 20 years like the last one, I will be beyond satisfied. Highly recommend to anyone need a new garbage disposer.

A step up from the 17 year old unit I replaced...

...but some issues. The unit is much easier to get into the active mode - magnets seem to pull the drain plug quickly into the precise disposal mode position. However, it is extremely difficult to set the drain plug in the correct position to let water drain out of the sink. It keeps defaulting back to a position where the sink fills with water, so that you need to stick your hand into a partially full sink of dirty water. Issue

Having a problem with the unit turning off. Have to monkey with it. Service coming out to check. Not sure if it is the unit or me, I will be honest. Always have had a batch feed Insinkerator. Never any problem before. Will come back here with the outcome this Thursday, 8/13. Therefore can not accurately answer the above questions.
