very quiet

replaced an older model InSinkErator, used same (old) bracket which made the installation much easier. This model is much quieter (so far), time will tell how it holds up, but we have only used this brand for years, and have never been disappointed in durability.

Why did we wait?

Very quiet and gets the job done quickly, love it. If you have to SLOWLY FEED your current disposal get this unit. It works very well.

A worthwhile purchase

The Evolution Compact disposal installed fairly smoothly and runs very quietly compared to our replaced unit. A good warranty helped me decide on this purchase. One star removed from the rating because of the company not supplying a needed piece of piping. They did include a plastic horizontal exit pipe, but my installation required one that had a vertical connection. I had to purchase an extra piece of piping and a connector to complete the installation. If they had provided both options, which...

Love my new garbage disposal

It takes up less space than my old one, is less noisy, and works efficiently so I don't have to run it very long.

Powerful yet quiet.

Easy to install, although I was replacing an older model Insinkerator, so the locking support flange was already in place. I decided on this upgrade model primarily due to the all stainless internals. I am quite pleased with the relatively quiet operation compared to the old unit; it is noticeable!

I THINK I GOT A LEMON

I had one of these at my last house and it lasted from 1997 until i sold the house last year. It was still going strong. I installed one at my new house last December and it crapped out already. It is being replaced under warranty, but it is disheartening that the premier disposal manufacturer that their quality has deteriorated.

Very Quiet and solid

This is an excellent product. The only issue I have with it is attaching the disposal to the drain flange. The disposal is very heavy & wide, so while I am laying on my back lifting it into place, I was unsure if I had it even and all three prongs are connecting properly. I would think the bright minds would be able to design a simple connection, and then maybe a wrap around band to secure it into place. otherwise this is a great product.

Great disposal. I bought this model to replace the exact make and model that lasted for 13 years. Excellent performance. Quiet too.

This machine is so much better than my previous 2 units it is hard to believe. It is so quiet, it is unbelievable. This unit might cost some extra but beleive me, IT IS WORTH IT I could not be more satisfied.

We have only been using the disposer for a few weeks now, and it appears to be a good machine. It works every time and is very quiet when operating. The disposer it replaced may have been the original model installed when the house was built which would have made it 17 years old. That one was noisy when running but it was still working when we removed it as a matter of prudence. As previously stated the new one is much quieter but as it is a recent replacement I was not going to give it an excel...

Solid construction and good design

Excellent disposer and pretty quiet. Wanted a disposer to take on tougher things like chicken bones and this is it.

Excellent disposal and fairly easy to install even for the non professional

The only problem I had was the weight of the unit. Was a little difficult to get it into position but once I figured out what I was doing it locked right in. Our old disposal sounded like a jackhammer, ok so maybe a little exaggeration, but it was noisy! This one is so quiet I can run it without my wife having to turn up the TV.

Always great product

We switched from a Waste King product in a home we just moved into because it was loud and didn't do the job. After installation of the Evolution Compact pro there was a world of difference. It's quiet and can process everything but super stringy items. We already knew this because we have used this product since our plumbers recommendation 18 years ago. He was right, this is the only disposer brand I will ever install, as long as it's at least 3/4 hp.

Very loud

I bought this as I hoped it would be quiet. It's actually louder than the old one Def not worth the money, very disappointed
