Easy installation -quiet operation

The disposal was very easy to install. I installed it and an air switch in a sink located on a kitchen island that didn’t previously have a disposal. The device is large. Definitely measure the room you have under the sink. I imagine lack of space is an issue in some cases. The disposal is very quiet and powerful. Hopefully it will do its job for many years to come. Quality product.

Quiet and does the job

I replace a 1HP with this 3/4HP only because they didn't have any at the store. I have not seen any difference as yet. It runs quietly and does its job.

Great product

Very quiet disposal and easy to install. The only difficulty we had was figuring out how to install the rubber piece that goes between the sink and the disposal - the old one had it mounted on the disposal itself, but this one mounted inside the sink itself (which the instructions failed to describe).

Esteem plus

We did a kitchen remodel and my husband wanted to keep our old disposal because he wasn’t confident that the new ones would work as well. He was pleasantly surprised with the insinkerator! We got the Esteem Plus model and we’re very happy with it.

Super quiet disposal! Made in America!

It’s so quiet when running and it was a fairly easy install. You do need a second pair of hands to get it in place so it will lock on to the flange. The wiring was a breeze. Best of all it’s still made in the USA!

The Beast

This disposal tackles anything I put in it. I, however, do not put celery or anything very stringy, or any grease in it. I put almost nothing in my previous disposal as a lot of things would rattle around in it. I'd have to pull the plug and put my hand in to retrieve it. This disposal has a splash guard which is removable - makes for easy cleaning underneath the rim. It's very, very quiet. Can hardly hear it. If it's time for an update, consider one of the Evolution series of Insinkerator...

Quiet and fast

We installed this garbage disposal to replace a previous similar model. The other one ran, but did not get rid of the food. We finally decided to get out the warranty and discovered we were like five months too late on a nine year warranty. Arrrghh. Excellent with a small design flaw

This is so quiet that when we turned it on after installing it we weren't sure it was actually working! It quickly pulverizes whatever we put in it and does so quietly. The design flaw is that the opening in the rubber is very small that food will not flow into the disposal unless it is pushed down. This is even for small stuff, soft stuff or even very thick liquid such as pancake batter. If you want a quiet and smooth operating food disposal this would be the one you would need to buy! I bought the esteem but returned it and bought this one!!

I can hardly hear it running!

When I great turned it on I thought it was jammed up because I could hardly hear it! But to my surprise it was running just the way it was supposed to be!

Evolution Select Plus 3/4 HP Quiet & Powerful

Easy to remove my original 1/4HP insinkerator. No need to remove the mounting bracket. Installation instructions were clear and accurate. All I needed was some quality pipe thread sealant (save yourself some time and forego teflon tape) for the main waste drain. Very powerful and quite unit. A little large but still fit in the place of my tiny old unit. I'm glad I bought this strong disposal.

Very Quiet!

While its only been a month, we are happy with this model. We spent quite a bit of time researching and found this one to be a good option and value for our needs. Pros: Very quiet. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. And, along with a YouTube video, I installed myself. I like the removable baffle for cleaning. Quite and Works

Great waste disposal, very quite and works well without any fuss. Has great features including stainless steel internals and two stage grinding. Excellent warranty also. Really very happy with this unit.

Best garbage disposal

Out of numerous garbage disposals I've owned for over 30 years this is by far the best. It was easy to install. Looks really sleek. It's so so quiet and works great.

Quietist Disposal Ever

Very impressed on how quiet this disposal is. On installation side they said if replacing an existing Insinkerator that the mount is compatible. I must have had an older one as had to change out mount (which was a custom color for our Blanco sink) with the mount provided sink. Little more work.
