Very Quiet

This is the quietest disposal I have ever owned. Love it!

Love the quiet and the power.

This went is very simply and was refreshingly quiet and powerful. The older model made a very loud irritating sound that was bad enough I wouldn't want to run it early morning or later at night!

Excellent replacement for builder model

Had to replace the original builder’s Badger 1 model because the housing cracked where the drain tailpiece attaches. Installation was very easy and I could have just used the old mount if I wanted to, except the new one was bright and shiny so that doubled the install time from 15 mins to 30 mins. The old builder model had been in use for over 18 years so the new mount looked much nicer. Now the good part: I had no idea that it would be this much quieter in operation. Grinds Well

VERY HAPPY I BOUGHT THIS MODEL. IT'S QUIET, DOES A GREAT JOB GRINGING UP FOOD AND THE PULL OUT GASKET IS EASY TO KEEP CLEAN.

Best purchase I’ve made.

Replaced an old GE model with the Insinkerator and could not of made a better choice. It is unbelievably quiet and eats our wet garbage like a champ.

Quiet, ease of operation.

First impression: Quiet..Hardly hear it run. Easy to clear obstructions with removable rubber barrier on top..New unit has a wider mouth than the old Insinkerator had.

Not the Best First Choice

Unfortunately my experience with this model was less than stellar. Had it professionally installed and things worked OK for the first 3 weeks or so. While it wasn't nearly as powerful as the discontinued Pro 77 model we previously had it definitely was much quieter. Initial issue started with the sink beginning to back up then rather slow drain, this quickly escalated to the disposal shutting down repeatedly. Quiet and powerful

If this unit had a pigtail for the electrical hookup it would be close to perfect. It's very quiet in operation and demolishes the waste put into it.

Great Product

At the time of this review, we have owned this product for 2 months. Other than the difficulty of installing the product by self, this is a great product. It is extremely quiet and performances as promised.

Love it

It was very easy to install. Replaced my old unit. This works like a dream and it is very quiet compared to my past disposals.

This is our first unit. So far it is working very well. No jams or clogs.

The only question/problem that I have is that the water drains so slowly. Is there a problem with the rubber insert in that there is so little area for the water to drain from the sink?

So very quiet

I haven't had a garbage disposal in years because I lived in areas without public sewers so this was going to be a treat! LOL Anyway, I love it. It's so quiet. I don't use it as much as the normal person. I still throw most hefty food waste in the trash. Oh, don't forget to tell your installer (mine was a handyman) that if you don't take out the piece that allows the dishwasher water to flow to the drain and not the air gap, you should be okay!

Great Innovation Ideas

I personally have not used it yet, but my wife has. She loves it. It is very quiet compared to most. My previous was a 38 year old G.E. I think I got my money's worth of use out of it. The old one you had to start by turning the drain thing. This one you can use a button that is on the top of the sink, along by the fawcet.
