One of the best

Very awesome product. Although quieter than the old one that I replaced, not the quietest. The installation was very easy if you follow the instructions provided. No wonder Insinkerator is the best and the most-talked about brand in the market. I was recently convincing a family member and a friend to go for this brand over others. No complaints yet.

The best I’ve had

This disposal unit was easy for my son to install…upon using it I thought it didn’t work! The problem was that it was so quit I couldn’t hear it! I was amazed!it’s wonderful!

I have had the same one for 37 years and no complaints. I only wish I could get the same results from some of my other appliances (what a world this would be)

So quiet!

Th disposal we had to replace was the one that was installed in our house when we bought it. I'm grateful it died so I could replace it with one of quality! This Evolution Esteem Plus is so quiet, I had to listen closely the first time I ran it to be sure it was working. Thank you inSINKerator!

Waiting on authorize service tech to come check out the disposal as it has been noisy since installation. Authorized tech not responding to the work order from factory.

Too Quiet and Not a 1 for 1 Swap With old Insinkerator

This unit is way too quiet and because you can't hear it running real easy to forget to turn off. It does NOT come with a long enough discharge elbow and Insinkerator does NOT offer one, requiring you to use an extension pipe and adding an additional joint that could leak.

Very quiet

This was an upgrade from our old basic food disposal when it failed. It was purchased because of the promise of being very quiet. This unit is much wider and heavier than the old one, but it's because of the insulation. This unit is very quiet and has very little vibration when working.

THE INSINKERATOR GARBAGE DISPOSAL THAT I HAD FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS FINALLY GAVE OUT. I BOUGHT THE SAME OR SIMILER MODEL TO REPLACE IT AND IT IS PERFECT. WORKS GREAT AND DOES A BEAUTIFUL JOB. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Great product!

My old 1/2 horsepower garbage disposal started to leak so was time for a change. After research, I found that 1 HP was the right fit for our household but they can get very pricey. This product was by far the best price for the motor power while still being from the only brand of disposal I would consider buying. I love this product! It was super easy to install and so much quieter than our old disposal. It's actually hard to tell when the food is done grinding because the sound of the water run...

Evolution Esteem Plus

I replaced my 777SS with this model. I was not disappointed. It's scary how quiet this unit is. You can barely hear it run. I can understand if people were to leave it on by accident due to the low noise it produces. Great purchase.

Easy to install, queit!

I had a previous insinkerator so installation was a breeze. Super quiet while operating!

I would have preferred to get another Excel 2

Seems fine - It replaced an Excel 2 that froze up so I didn't have to replace the drain trim and mounting brackets on the bottom of the sink. I would have preferred another Excel 2 but now that it has been used a couple of weeks we don't notice any difference between this and the Excel 2 that it replaced. Only difficulty was getting my body in position to lift it into place.

Didn't even last 2 years...

I would consider us a light use customer and I thought I would spend a little extra money and buy the best I could afford but this was a big disappointment. I'm a service manager for a national company and this is probably just a glaring example of poorly sourced components. The seal between the blade chamber and the motor apparently failed as we had leaking out the bottom of the unit and then the motor ultimately seized... A lot of money for a piece of junk in my opinion.

Best Disposal I've ever had

Bought this for our kitchen overhaul. Previously had a 1/2 HP Badger model that did the job, but decided to upgrade. Installation was easy and straightforward, it takes up less space than my old one, which is great because we went with a 30" sink base, and it is so incredibly quiet. My wife installed this and at first thought she had wired it wrong because it was so quiet. You can barely hear it over the running water with the rubber gasket in place.
