Silent operator

This unit is so quiet! It was a great addition to our new kitchen.

Super disposal!

It is whisper quiet.Works great. It fit perfectly, and I did not have to alter any drain lines. If it came with a cord, that would have been better, but I took the cord off the old disposer without much trouble. Cost is a bit high, but in terms of (hopefully) years of quiet use - I have an open kitchen - it seems well worth the extra cost.

Worked fine for a couple weeks, then...not so much

We installed a few weeks ago and it was working A+, quiet and smooth. Then, started violently shaking and making a horrible racket. Customer Care apologized, but said it's not covered under warranty because it's probably a foreign object stuck in the grinding chamber. I've looked and I don't see anything and we even took it out, turned it over, shook it, inspected the grinding chamber - nothing. Re-installed, made sure everything was nice and tight...and it shakes the entire sink and counter - s...

Quiet

High powered unit that is very quiet-

You get what you pay for.

Replacement for same model that lasted 20+ years. Did not think we could go wrong. Fairley quite.

Easy install and much quieter than prior

Able to reuse existing collar and cord assy. Fit in same space of 7yr old whirlpool 1/3 HP builder model without issue. Much quieter and sounds robust over a few uses thus far.

First one lasted 2 years

Quietly Dispose of Your Enemies

The 1/2 HP unit that came with my house sounded like a crate of screws going through a 747 engine. Spent more than I wanted on my 3/4 HP replacement, but my god. Pulverizes whatever you toss in there and it's quieter than you think a disposal can be. Like a purring kitten. 10/10. Gonna test on a Costco rotisserie chicken.

1-HP is amazing!

I had the same disposal in my last house, so I knew I wanted the same one again. My dad also has the same one. He loves testing his with things like avocado pits and he recently dropped a screw in his and instead of retrieving it, he just let it grind with the regular kitchen scraps for a few days until it was gone. (rolling my eyes) I don't test mine as rigorously, but it is nice that I don't have to worry about carrot or potato peels clogging it up - just to be on the safe side I gradually...

Works fine; missing critical hose clamp

The new disposal mounts with a rubber gasket at the drain, whereas my old one had a threaded drain to which the pipe directly mounted. No big deal, except that you need a thin, automotive-style spring hose clamp. It is supposed to be included. Mine was not. I got the last disposal at my big box store, so I can't pillage one from another box. I don't have any clamps at home that fit it. Since the flange is narrow and angled, screw-type clamps slide off. Worth it

It is very quiet and was very easy to install as a replacement to my old Insinkorator disposal. Well worth the extra money.

Needs a cord!

I can't tell you how well the product operates, because it doesn't come with a power cord! Which it obviously needs in order to turn on.
