This was purchased to replace a 7-year-old insinkerator disposal. it was easy to disconnect the old one and this one fit perfectly. I did not have to replace any of the piping. One thing, you had to purchase an electrical cord separately, which added $20 to the total cost. They should have installed one when it was manufactured. Just a way for them to make more money.

It’s a disposal and It works ....for a while
I’ve been installing and reinstalling disposals for fifty years. As far as I can tell, the only difference you can pay for and notice is longevity. Theoretically and for the most part truly, the more expensive the longer it lasts but of course, nothing is ever that easy. And by the way, if you’re putting bones in your disposal….don’t. Unless, that is, you enjoy shortening the already limited life span of your appliance.
