Not great

Too tight on my head, pretty uncomfortable, wouldn’t recommend

Great Product

Sound is very good, controls are easy to ID by touch, and L/R are printed in a huge font on the inside of each cup so there’s no room for confusion. My only gripe is they’re pretty tight on my fat head and my ears get sweaty in warmer weather. That’s probably a necessary evil to accommodate for the hearing protection rating. I’ll be getting some earbuds for the summer.

Review of ISOtunes Air Defender

Have only used one time thus far but first experience was great. Headphones are big but lighter in weight than expected. The sound is great but have not yet tested with my loudest machines

Quiet, good and bad

The hearing protection is good, I have zero issue that. My only gripe is the volume is very faint, and somewhat defeats the purpose when you can’t hear the music due to muffled sound you are protecting yourself from. It is a trade off I’m sure, because they are very light and comfortable, but assuming that balances with weaker batteries and smaller drivers. Wired may be better, but I’m not about to plug in a headphone cord while leaning over a table saw.

Would like to like these

I have the ISOtunes Aware over-head headphones and these are definitely lighter than those but I really like the ‘aware’ part of the other headphones. I probably will not ever wear these since they don’t block noise well enough to hear my music with machinery running. Maybe I’m doing something wrong… also they do not switch devices as well as the others… maybe I need to try the ISOtunes Free Aware in-ears…

Great headphones

They work great with clear sound, excellent Bluetooth connection and great battery life. I use them to run a commercial mower many days a week and they are comfortable and easy to hear for the duration. Very satisfied with my purchase.

heavier than I expected

Much heavier than I expected for an "ultra light weight" headphone. Hard to adjust clamping pressure, much too tight on my head, uncomfortable. And could you make the font in the users manual any smaller? ridiculously small font, you need a magnifying glass to read it.

Great for about an hour

I use these for cutting my lawn and trimming around the yard. Bluetooth works great and they do a good job keeping out the noise of a Diesel engine. I can wear them for about an hour. After that they become very very uncomfortable to the point where I can’t wear them. The ear pads don’t seem to be thick enough and the headphones feel like they’re crushing my skull!

Good ear protection

Good while mowing they could be louder as my hearing is bad due to years of farming and heavy equipment use, My own fault and it wasn’t promoted that much when I was younger.

Great isolation. Some crackle

They are easy to pair with my phone. The isolation is great! Running a large saw with dust collector blasting and feel very safe from sounds. The speaker quality is poor or maybe I have a blown speaker? But there's is noticable crackle on some tracks from YouTube music that I don't hear with any other headphones. It is not noticable when I'm in a loud environment but when everything is quiet it's annoying enough to make me turn the music off

These rule!

Fit is nice and snug and conforms well to my head with still enough room for my giant ears inside. Answering a phone call is plenty clear even without an external microphone. My only wish is that they had at least 2-3db more noise reduction since they aren’t quite as quiet as my 3M Optime 105 earmuffs but it’s still a good trade off since I can pump my jams in these.

Easy to use. Great sound. It is living up to all the expectations I had after reading the roll out announcement. Wonderful!!!

Great for woodshop

Makes the noise of much less and as an added bonus I can listen to the greatest band ever (in my opinion:) Iron Maiden
