Bit pricey but worth it, gets the job done!

This is a great product, really good quality and gets the job done. I was replacing a part on my car with very little clearance, the bolts were so rusted that nothing gripped them, not even vice grips. i came this these and in two minutes i took both bolts off.

Rounded Bolts No Problem

I usually don't review anything like this but I was really impressed with this socket set I had a oil plug rounded off I had tried everything else I could think of no luck it was just getting worse so I had a Lowes gift card and I went and bought a set put the socket on and the oil plug came right out perfect no problem I hope this helps someone

This set is small, not for larger bolts.

I did not have this set in my toolset. I had to use my Grandson's. It worked perfectly.

Works Exactly How It Should

Brake caliper bolt was stripped, bought this set, after a couple taps with the hammer, bolt was removed easily.

It worked exactly aa the sales associate said. I was a little concerned because there wasn't a 15mm size. But the range did work on one socket. Lowes just needs to label where things are at better online. Way too vague and took way too long in store.

I used penetrating oil which also helped

Did the job

Stuck bolt on a 1996 F-150 gas tank and this got it off. Best way to hold it in my experience was vice grips

Buy both sets.

Excellent idea for a tool. But, the original didn't have enough sizes and it was difficult to find the expansion set.

This is a Lifesaver!!!

Removed two round-edged torx bolts that had been stripped out and mangled. I thought that I was NEVER going to get them out, but this did the trick. I had to hammer the extractor down onto the bolts to get a good bite, and then persuaded them with that same hammer while turning with a breaker bar. What an awesome tool!

Does the Job

Drain plug was not coming off. This set is great. Used an extension to get some focused direct hits. No feeling like when that stripped bolt finally starts turning. Don’t try and save $15 for a cheaper set. Buy Irwin.

Made a miserable job EASY.

It made taking out a rusted and rounded out brake bleeder screw a breeze. I didnt like how the case doesnt really hold the sockets in place but it works.

Never thought it would work and it got two bolts out of a 15-year-old Subaru Pinch bolt that was essentially welded with rust. Never even slipped on. It just backed it right out.

A well made tool That works when others fail

I purchased this item 5+ yrs ago and it saved my kiester then. I just got a 2011 1500 (now 2024) and was trying to install nerf bars on it. I broke a ‘cab hold down isolator bolt. I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t even know the name for what I broke when it happened. bolt extraction tool

when working on my brakes seems put the wrong socket on the bolt by accident and rounded the bolt in the caliper. tried everything to get it off it was torqued down no way. read reviews on Loews about the phrase of the tool. gave it a try hammered the socket on the stripped rounded headed bolt put my torque wrench on it turned and it cane right off. Was worried could not get it off went to store to replace the bolt problem resolved. thanks for the other reviews ery helpful

amazing tool

worth EVERY penny you spend on this. had an impossible bolt to remove in a hard to reach spot. it was totally rounded. this pulled it out in seconds with ease!!!!!!
