1/16 punch immediately bent

The 1/16 punch immediately bent. I was using it on a 1/16 pin with a small plastic mallet. It should have held up to its designed function.

It worked for me.

I changed out the small lever on my Henry Lever Action 22 Rifle for a larger lever. To do so, I had to remove two pins. The 4mm punch was perfect. stout, too. Probably saved me some money by not using a gunsmith. The change-out was easy, and fun.

Not durable

I was using my 1/8 punch to take out cherry max rivets, and it broke. Waste of money.

Good Punch Set

Pretty good quality set of punches for a reasonable price. Got a stubborn roll pin out after trying inferior options with these in a matter of minutes.

Great set.

I needed a small punch to disassemble my new handgun. I only needed the 1/16th punch and it worked fine.

Good hole punches

They work well. Fairly solid. I haven’t broken any of them yet. The paint will come off on the striking point though

Using 1/8 punch busted even before getting roll in out. Had to use an aluminum rivet to finish getting the pin out. The rivet was stronger then the metal roll pin punch. You can see the hammer I was using. Not happy!

Punches for all jobs.

I like Irwin punches over other punches. I have bought two sets of these in the last few years. great for nail removal.

1/16" Punch is Garbage

Bought this set for removing pins on firearms because I could get them that day. I thought that they would be good enough for that purpose. If I hadn't used the 1/16" punch I would still think that. I was drifting out some small roll pins and after doing two pins the punch took a good bend. I could easily push on my table and bend it back, meaning that punch was not properly hardened. That punch looked like it had a slight warp from the factory but I chalked that up to a product of the heat trea...

Fantastic Punch Set

This is a strong and versatile set of punches. The different sizes really came in handy for what I needed. Please be careful with the skinniest punch. If you try to blast through something very rigid (like metal) the tip can bend. Which is to be expected with any narrow body punch you use. Just something to keep in mind if you plan on using the narrowest punch for stuff like gunsmithing or other heavy duty work.

Protective head wear is recommended when necessary

These can hurt someone if you drop them from tall hights

Paint chips off. Otherwise a good tool.

These worked ok. I don’t like all the paint that chips off when you uses them.

Great set of punches that can be used for a variety of things.

Cheap trash.

Cheap trash. No better quality than any import bargain-bin store punches. I was attempting to drive out a tapered pin when the 1/8" punch bent and flew out of my hand. This punch wasn't abused, and was being hit squarely with a deadblow hammer. Might as well buy the import cheapies from the "other store" and save some money.
