Would RecommendI replace my dryer vent hose, so at the same time I decided to replace the vent cap as well. It's a good thing I did because it was almost stopped up from all the lent over the years going through it. the old vent didn't close all the way when the dryer was not in use, giving it an opening for lizard's or snake's a chance to get in. Now with a new dryer vent hose and dryer vent cap, everything is working great and I'm at ease not having to worry about a fire starting up.
