Would RecommendThese work great for making your own LAN cables. You just need to have a compatible crimping tool. I use an Ideal model 33-396 crimp tool on these RJ-45 plugs and have never had a problem.

Would RecommendJust moving into another house and wired it for CAT5e in every room for streaming and such. Never did find a bad connector in any of the many I had to crimp on. They hold the jacket well when it is included into the connector as well. All the pins penetrate the insulation well and all runs passed on the network analyzer tool.

Ideal Rj45
Would RecommendIdeal has always been the best. I must admit I was buying these because my 30 year old stash had become cloudy and I couldn't see through them very well, lol. FYI - I still use the cloudy ones and the work fine, just have to test cables I make with them prior to use.

Would RecommendI'm technical but not enough to care about quality of bandwidth to the degree a network specialist would. That being said, these worked just fine for some cable we had to cut for a job. They crimped fine and snapped in fine. Haven't had worries or issues, but they're not outside or in high traffic areas.
