looks good, but a bit loud

aesthetically it is a nice fan. goes together very well. just a bit loud with the hum of the motor on high. i did buy two more, as they match my decor perfectly and look nice.

Pleased but sad for others

Good quality. Reasonably quiet. Instructions pretty crappy. I mean really crappy. I have hung many fans previously which is why I was able to hang fan. Again, instructions were worst I have ever seen.

As expected

Easy to put together, functioning well so far. Quiet fan, plenty of power. Lovely light globe.

Fan Hums and Buzzes

Most of the fans in our home are a different brand but we've been very pleased with them. This fan was only about $20 more than another we considered but we have heard for years how fans made by Hunter are wonderful. We installed this fan and immediately noticed a humming noise the motor made. We checked everything and nothing was loose. I exchanged the fan at Lowe's for the exact same fan assuming it was a bad motor -- nope, SAME THING with the new fan. It hums and has now started buzzing at ti...

Much better than expected at this price point.

Purchased two. Easy to mount and wire, comes with LED bulbs to install. No "humming," no wobbling, no vibration. Would give it 5 stars if it came with a longer extension for 10' and 12' ceilings. (the extension provided is only a couple of inches long). Went back to the store and bought a 12" and an 18" extender, so all is well.

Worst installation instructions of all time.

Fan is nice, but I have never had a product with worse installation instructions. Thank goodness that I am very handy, I can't imagine someone with minimal mechanical aptitude installing this. Installed a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan last week with my son and be both said the installation instructions for that were the best ever - buy a Harbor Breeze fan and save yourself some aggravation.

SMALL Motor Housing

This fan is quiet, doesn't wobbly, and looks nice except it is VERY small and looks ... wimpy. We ended up moving it from a bedroom to a very small area and it didn't look quite as teeny. I am attaching a picture. We are using a different light shade than the one it came with.

Hunter ceiling fan

Was easy to install. (Had one there before this one). It is very quiet. It also has very good lighting.

Love the bronze finish and the glass dome light fixture. Fan is very quiet.

Decent Fan

This is a very nice fan, I really have no issues other than the different speeds. Low is really low wehre I can count the fan blades, it barely moves air and might be good for winter use. The medium speed is just barely faster than low, I can almost count the blades, this moves air but is barely perceptible 10% faster would be just perfect. High is high! It moves air but is only slightly more than the old fan on medium that I took down. The only reason I changed is the old fan got real noisy. Fo...
