54" Crossfield w/white base

We have this fan in our newly renovated den and ordered the same one with the white base finish to give our bedroom a clean look with the new wall and carpets.

Fan is good. Previous one was quieter however.

I liked this product because I think there was a glitch on the website and was able to purchase for $55.00. It also looks nice in my bedroom.

Nice Fan

Fan brought a nice updated look to a bedroom with a lower ceiling that needed a low profile fan option. Installation was a breeze. Had the old fan down and this new fan up in under an hour. The most difficult part of the installation is the 3 screws that secure the light housing to the motor. While there are some wires in the way, these can be easily manipulated and moved to the side. Otherwise fan is quiet and moves a ton of air.

The install is a nightmare. The electrical is very easy at the junction box. The problem comes after the blades are hung there are three screws that the bottom light attaches to. The instructions show a empty box to which the screws go They don't show the mass of wires that are in the way. I have put up over 80 to 100 fans and this was the worst app that I have ever encountered.

Worst fan ever

Do not, do not, DO NOT buy this fan. As others have said installation is crazy hard and after finally getting it up the motor is not quiet. Replaced a decades old Hunter fan that was whisper quiet. Hunter makes many great fans but this is absolute junk. You've been warned!!!

Excellent Quality; Difficult Installation.

This fan is leaps and bounds from my Harbor Breeze fan I had that only lasted less than a year and a half. It has a great build quality, nice warm lighting, and very cool fan speeds. The only knock it has is the installation is a bit difficult. You will definitely need two people for the install. Overall great fan!

Not quiet enough for a bedroom

If this is in an office or living room, I'm sure it will be fine. But it has a distance whoo-whoo-whoo-whoo sound that would drive me crazy trying to get to sleep. I'm fine with a fan sound, but it has to be a constant white noise. This isn't quiet enough.

Lights flicker constantly when turned on.

I am going to have to uninstall this fan and return it to Lowes due to a defective light kit. Another user already stated this, but installing the light kit is complicated by the fact that the mounting screws are inside the electrical compartment. this means that you are trying to thread a screw through a hole that you can't see while standing on a ladder and trying to not drop the screw as you manage your way around a tangle of wires. It's close to the wall. It was easy to install. The breeze it blows is great!

Didficult Installation

The most difficult installation I've ever had with a ceiling fan, mainly the installation of the light kit. It's nearly impossible and takes more time then the whole rest of install up to that step. My suggestion is to stay away from this fan unless you want to get aggravated.
