moving parts collide when pulling fan speed chain

followed instructions. Not my first fan rodeo. something weird, when fan is already on, and you pull the fan speed to change, it pulls moving part attached to blades into the big stationary shell covering motor causing them to touch.

Bought two... my second and third Hunter fans.

I bought to of these. Love the look. One of them is okay, the other sounds like a coffee grinder on a low speed setting. I did all the tricks, tightened blades (already tight). there's a grinding sound that I can't live with. Was this junk by accident? I'm going to order a replacement and let you know... so far 50% are junk.

Nice Fan

I like the fan and liked that it was flush to the ceiling and also that it was controlled by chains , so I did not have to search for a remote to operate it. But I ultimately returned it because the bronze color and the blade color did not match the other oil rubbed bronze in my house.

Great Airflow

I am using this fan in a room with a width of 10ft and length of 12ft. The airflow for a room of this size is excellent. I will be purchasing this fan for other rooms in my home.

Functional and Fabulous!

I love my new dining room ceiling fan! It took my husband about 2 hours to install it (this was because it his first time ever). The lights are brighter than I anticipated, which is good because it adds a lot light to the space. I also like that here are 2 different options for the blades. You can’t go wrong with this fan!

Hunter quality can't be beat

As an electrician I had installed and seen my fair share of fans. And Hunter seems to always have a quality product. The set up is simple, the balance is almost always on point, and the fan moves plenty of air quietly. This fan was great as always the only reason I dropped a star is because I feel like they should have used some nice decor style LED bulbs and not basic ones.

I absolutely love this ceiling fan and light. Its bright enough to light up our entire room and is flush to the ceiling just like described. Also I LOVE the fan, I used to keep a floor fan in my room because I am always hot. With this fan I was able to get rid of my floor fan. Its the perfect color for my farmhouse shabby chic style that I was going for. Love the color of the blades. Great purchase!

Nice fan, hunter customer service is clueless.

I installed the fan, its exactly what I wanted. I then installed hunter's fan remote (model #99123). After having issues of flickering. I called hunter customer service and explained my issue. They told me to recheck the wiring and if it's not the wiring it's the light kit. So me being me I went out a bought some Phillip's dimmable bulbs. Turns out the "dimable" LED lights that come with the fan aren't that great and it was making their remote control think there was CFL bulbs installed. Way to ...

My husband wanted a new ceiling fan for our living room because he hated the one left by the previous homeowners. We both agreed on this one. It looks great - traditional but not in a boring way. And it was compatible with the digital lighting switch he wanted to install with it.
