Would Not RecommendThis fan appears to be well made, but if you need to install it without a light kit, good luck. The instructions refer you to a website on how to install it without the light, but you won't find a link on that website on how to do it. I was able to figure it out, but it wasn't easy. Also, I had to call support on an unrelated issue and was given the runaround. Was also able to overcome this issue, so the light is installed (and works well), but not without problems. Would RecommendThis is a beautiful ceiling fan. I chose this to match my stainless steel appliances. It is a replacement for another ceiling fan. The only issue we had installing it was installing the bracket. We have an older home and the bracket did not fit the existing ceiling fixture box, we had to change that out. Otherwise, it was simple to install and looks beautiful.
