Beware of issues you may have installing this fan!

I install dozens of fans each year in my Handyman business. I recently installed a 51109 and it was difficult. The mounting bracket was too wide to install on a standard square junction box in the ceiling where the old one was. Luckily, I was able to screw one side into a roof joist. Also, the screws for the lighting kit stripped out before becoming tight in the assembly. All in all, it doubled the time it normally takes to install a typical fan. Quality as expected

Purchased this fan and light combination to be used in a bedroom. Relied on the Hunter brand for a quality product. Proved to be the case as the unit is well built, packaged well, and was easy to put together and install. Even included the LED light bulbs.

I LOVE THIS FAN!!!

The fan came with easy to follow instructions that made install a breeze. I was able to install it within an hour... and I have no prior experience. It runs beautifully and is so quiet!

We bought these for our kids bedrooms and they work great for the space.

Good Fan

The fan works flawlessly, and the LED bulbs that were provided with the fan are very bright! Fan was easy to assemble and install.

Hunter ridgefield

Nice fan / light. Be careful, store stocks fans with candelabra bulb and regular bulbs. Box looks the same - really have to look at box to tell the difference. I preferred the regular LED bulbs. I bought 3 of these fan / lights

Light kit does not last.

Light stopped working 2 years in. Never had that happen before. I think they were experimenting with this light kit. Saw where replacement was on back order. Must be a lot failing. Hunter probably needs to stop selling this fan.

Perfect for kid's room!

Easy to install, perfect for location on vaulted ceiling in kid's room. Quiet too!

Love Hunter Fans!

I’ve had Hunter fans for many years. They are extremely reliable and quiet! I love the this fan in white for my daughter’s bedroom. Also bought a Hunter for the great room too.

Don't buy this

Purchased this fan and after one year lights began to burn out. Finally, the lights blew out all together and light fixture doesn't come on at all. Whether this is a light kit problem or a wire harness problem is unknown. If it's the light kit Hunter is no longer making that fixture any longer. If it's the wire harness, that's on back order for months. Basically, I was told this fan is no longer being made even though it's still being sold at Lowe's and thru Hunter. Just beware!!

Good Bedroom Fan

Good smaller bedroom fan. Good instructions makes installation easy. Balancing did take some time to fine tune, but is rock solid. Very quiet operation.
