Would RecommendPros: Very easy to slide onto the ceiling truss. Comes with three screws. One screw holds the box to the truss until the primary screws are attached. The other two are used to secure the fan through the fan mounting hanger & saddle box into the truss. Saddle box is a tight fit on a standard 2x4 truss so will not wiggle but also will not easily push fully onto the truss. Cons: The initial smaller screw is of very poor quality and the Phillips head stripped out very quickly on 2 of the 4 boxes I...

Easy to install, very sturdy
Would RecommendUsed this electric box to replace the cheap flat plastic one that was holding up a light-weight ceiling light fixture with a ceiling fan. Very easy to install. Slips right over the wood joist. Feels extremely secure once you attach the base of the ceiling fan.

Would RecommendSo I bought this ceiling mount fixture, found that it was too long, I needed a shorter one , ut could not find one, so to shorten it I used my cut off grinder and boom it fits great. the fixture is sturdy and easy to install, and the rework on the fixture the integrity of the unit is still there and working. Good product.
