Auxiliary heat issue
Would Not RecommendYour app does not show when auxiliary heat is running and can only be seen on thermostat itself. It also always runs on auxiliary heat and the home edition thermostat does not provide proper set points for auxiliary heat. I should have bought the commercial pro 8000 that I normally install. This cost a lot to run since auxiliary heat always runs while heating. Even if adjusting on 1 degree.

Would RecommendAfter approximately 5-6 weeks of use, they have been operating as advertised. I purchased 2 to replace 2 thermostats that had same features and capabilities but were no longer supported by manufacturer, rendering them useless other than a manual operating mode.

Honeywell is the best
Would RecommendWhen I bought my current house, it had a Nest Pro. After I downloaded the App I found it not user friendly. Also, there was a 2 degree delay in starting my heat pump and 2 degree to turn my unit off. It meant we were hot or cold before and after the unit turned on. I decided to "ditch" that thermostat and after carefully research and reviews, Selected the Honeywell Smart thermostat. Honeywell Thermostat
Would Not RecommendIt’s too cumbersome and incomplete. The Sensi is much more advanced and simpler. To change the temperature I have to confirm it — confirm what? Just change it directly. I also can’t set it to “Auto” mode (heating and cooling) like the Sensi; I can only do it through scheduling. On top of that, it’s complicated and less intuitive. Not a good product.
