Yes, it’s a good home back up generator!

Having said it’s a good Generstor, I have some positive and negative feed back. Positive: it’s compact, it’s more quiet than most other generators I have had of this size, I really like the digital read out and info it provides, it’s easy to move around. Negative: it’s very hard to read the digital read out without getting on your hands and knees. Don’t buy one

We operate our business in remote locations and depend on generators for our livelihood. After one year had to replace the fuel pump, very disruptive. Currently looking for a new generator, lots of good options over Honda, just trying to make a decision.

Very nice home backup Generator

We had the prior model 6500 water cooled twin cylinder which was a very good unit. Finally gave out after 15 years. It was an easy decision to get this new improved unit. Quieter, Lighter and slightly more power without dealing with water cooling changes.

For Storm Fern - won’t stay running

Really counting on this as a wise investment. Brand new out of the box. Started nicely then shuts off down just as fast. System threw error code for oil. Oil in took it out put some back in - same problem. Checked with a darn level to make sure a she’s level. Level. Checked battery for full charge. FUll Charge. Super quite

Purchased this for the house 3 weeks ago. have not had a power outage yet but have statrted it up numerous times and it is very quite, Can't give it a 5 star yet. we'll see how it works when I have an outage . As far as the warranty it should be based on hours not the 3 years.

Great quality product - highly recommend it

I use this as backup power for my house. Had to install a soft-start on my 3 ton central AC unit for this generator to power everything, but now it does. Extremely reliable. Starts every time, and I think that's its best feature. It's expensive, but I can see why, and I think it's worth it.

My new FI EU7000is, love it!

I have only had one opportunity to use my generator but start it once a week and it is easy to use, reliable and I hope to have it many, many years.

Cabin back up

I do use this as a whole cabin back up. Alaska Winters are the time we loose power and I’m happy to say I have a backup plan in place!

Can't Beat a Honda

I bought this last April and completed the break-in process. When Hurricane Helene hit in Sept. 2024, I used this for 3 days straight. It can power 2 full-sized fridges, a window AC unit, and a multitude of lights, fans, and electronics. With eco mode off, it powers our well pump nicely. Backup generator for my house

I bought this generator strictly as a backup generator for my home. I've owned it for about a year. Had occasion to use it twice due to power outages. First time was just an hour. Second time was for near 8 hours. In both instances I plug it in to the house transfer switch, hit the start button and it runs immediately. Power to power is just fine. Doesn't seem to you as much fuel. I'm very happy with it. I leave it on a smart charger most of the time and it's there when I've needed it.

Quiet reliable power

Generator just works. Fill it and let it run. Only thing I would like if engine had an oil filter.

I love the quality and quiet operation of the Honda. You can get parts and service on these generators as well. The quality is pricey but when you need piece of mind in backup power you get it with the Honda.

Powerful and quiet generator

I use this for power outages at my home. It runs my well pump, oil boiler, septic pump, lights, and TV. I just can’t use my electric oven or dryer.

Not a great experience

Bought the 7000. I have 2 hours on it and the battery was bad out of the box. Now the output indicator light is on and it won’t put out power. Been back to dealer twice. Use it for home back up.
