Is there a minus star?

Bought 6 cans. First 2 started ok for about 20 seconds. Then lost all pressure and foam started leaking from under the trigger all down my hand. 100% totally useless. Returned 4. I don't see how you can sell this junk with a straight face.

Complete waste of money

I wish I could leave a zero star rating. Lowes needs to remove this 'product' from the shelves. I read and followed all directions on the can and it worked for maybe 30 seconds before it started mounding up on the nozzle and oozing out from underneath the black cap. This stuff seemed to go everywhere except onto the ceiling. Not only do I now have to redo the section of ceiling that l sprayed, I now have even more to clean off the walls and floor. Don't waste your money.

hopefully you are reading these reviews BEFORE you purchased this terrible product.....unlike me. does exactly as all the other reviews say, doesn't work for more than a minute, completely gets clogged and goes EVERYWHERE except your ceiling. don't waste your $!

Exactly what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased my new home, I ventured into removing the popcorn ceiling in the den. The Pro Grade Knockdown Ceiling Texture was the perfect way to hide some of the areas I was not able to remove. This spray made my DIY project look like a million dollars.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new to us home in December 2019. There were minor signs of issues in our bathroom that have gotten worse with our use. I was very excited to try the knockdown ceiling texture to repair the issues without having to worry about the drywall and plaster being perfectly smooth. This was a great solution and I will have to try to get after photos. So glad PPG offered this product to try!

Might of been old

Even after shaking for 3-4 minutes would not spray more than 4 inches. just made a mess.

Disappointed

Prepare to be disappointed. You have about 10 seconds of reasonable spray time and then its like shaving cream and messy. They should sell a 6 ounce can because that’s all you get of actual product. Yes I shook can upside down for over a minute and did a test run. I Followed instructions to the T. Frankly testing a piece wastes valuable seconds or you brief spraying time. Bought 2 cans of the pro grade and couldn’t finish my project.

Convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great option!! Being able to keep the van upright and spray up to the ceiling is the best! Works fast and you can add as little or as much texture as you want. Cleans up easy if there is any overspray.

Could be good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product could be good if it didn't clog. I had high hopes it wouldn't, since it's water-based. After shaking can for at least a minute, I started to spray a section of my ceiling where a wall had been. It sprayed fine for a minute or two, then clogged. I could not get it unclogged to finish. I tried to use a trowel to "smear" product like what the ceiling currently looks like. The product dried too fast. I will probably have to use texture...

Helps with ceiling repairs!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is good to help with ceiling repairs. It’s fairly easy to use, shake for a minute before starting, then get to work. It blends easily into existing ceiling texture, just wish it was a white color and not a tan, but it can be painted over.

GREAT EASY TO USE PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a settling crack on my ceiling between the dining area and living room. This product worked great in covering that crack. It looked like the original on either side of the former crack. Very easy to use.

This was a major mess. I followed the directions; shook the can upside down for one full minute before spraying but the solution was never really as thick as I think it should have been. It kept falling off the ceiling even after changing the amount applied. Like I said, a big mess. Good thing clean up was easy with just water.

Effortless and easy to use

Recently had to repair drywall in the garage ceiling. After the seems were resealed and textured by hand, I was able to use this spray to further blend the former knockdown with the new texture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try so I decided to use it on a small ceiling tape seam repair. After making the repair it was time to spray a knockdown texture, I find the formula in the can is too tin to achieve a nice size nugget of knockdown. I tried different setting and still no results. A pressure regular may help. All and all you can get a satisfying result.

Good Idea

NOT pro Sprayer

Bought 6 cans of which only 1 sprayed correctly. What a mess and a mistake to buy!

Easy redo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Popcorn ceilings are a thing of the past and we wanted it gone! We gave Homax Pro Grade Knockdown Ceiling Texture a try and found it worked well! The instructions were easy to follow and the process was surprisingly easy! I wouldn't hesitate to go this route again!

Good product
