Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Wall Texture Spray is very easy to control. Being water-based made clean up easy too. The texture is not thick and sloppy like some others I have used. I highly recommend this wall texture spray.

Do not buy

I bought two cans of this stuff. Waisted $50+. First water sprays out (and this is after shaking) then all the texturizer drips down the can. I’m only giving a 1 star because you have to put a star

10% usable

The can does not spray after covering a 2’x2’ square, and it feels just as heavy as it did when I bought it. Really disappointing that I cannot use everything in the can.

Had Problems with Nozzle Spraying Properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my dad help me out with testing this Homax Aerosol Wall Texture Knockdown, and we tested it on cardboard before trying on the wall. He’s got experience in using products like this, while I do not. We read and followed the instructions (my dad is always meticulous with following instructions), shook it very well, and got a couple of good sprays at first. But then it started to come out in a blob, rather than a nice spread out pattern...

We wanted it gone so we used Homax Aerosol Wall Texture Knockdown and tackled it rather quickly and easily. The instructions are clear and it's quite affordable. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again in the same scenario!

Might be okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It didn't come out as well as i expected. And it had drips. Not as easy as i expected. I haven't painted it yet, so don't know how it will hold the pain

Good for small patch areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aerosol Wall Texture works good for small patch areas. I wouldn't recommend it for larger areas or a whole wall. Make sure to shake it a lot before using it and test it on cardboard BEFORE using it on your wall so that you can get the appropriate spray pattern that you want on your wall.

Just wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow is really the only thing I can say. This stuff works SO well and made a very overwhelming job so much simpler and easier. Big house with lots of popcorn ceilings and this stuff works GREAT. So much cheaper than hiring someone and simple to use. Overal 10/10. Just wow.

Loved it

Practice and Follow Directions Carefully

For me, no matter what the spray setting, it was difficult to get a consistent spray, but I eventually got the "pattern" I wanted. The directions were good, especially noting to use little or no pressure to knockdown. I could see using this for small jobs.

Larger container great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a decent sized area needed to rework due to an AC drain line leak. Patched the drywall and was worried about coverage area. Pleased to see I not only had enough product, but was able to blend it in without worrying about running out with just one can!

easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do the maintenance at a local motel. This has been great to use when I have to patch a hole in the wall caused by rowdy guests. Just spray it, let it set up a little then hit it with mud knife.

application troublesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that this meets project criteria that sounds great but i had so much trouble using the sprayer that after asking for assistance & they said it wasn't working right , I gave up. Water based clean up ,thank goodness.I really wanted it to work too .

Great for DYI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have never done "knockdown" texture then this is a good product to try. It is easy to apply and works great! When spraying make sure you follow the directions on the can it really is important too because it matters how you pray it depending on heavy the "knockdown" pattern is. Faulty Nozzle and Inconsistency

As soon as I removed the safety tab, the spray adjustment dial on the nozzle fell off. Even with putting it back in place, the product drizzled all over the side and barely sprayed because it was so watery--- and this was after shaking for more than the recommended time. I trashed the bottle after multiple attempts to even get some sort of consistent application. Complete waste of money.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spray texture was very easy to use and did not drip down the wall I applied to. It also does not have a strong smell so I was able to use it and not get a headache from the fumes.

Patch Repair

Blended perfectly with the texture on the wall. Only issue was trying to do the ceiling as the product came out uneven so it took several retries before I got the look I wanted.
