May be wasting your money
The ‘tab’ to adjust the flow is a cheap piece of plastic. It did not break off, but failed to adjust the flow. It came out in large ‘blobs’, not a controlled flow that could be adjusted. I threw it away with 95% unused.

Good for small job/patch and DIY folks.
Would RecommendIt gets the job done. The price is steep though. The nozzle is a little janky and I didn't have any luck with the adjustment but using distance to control pattern worked fine for me. If you could get this for 12$ a can or less I would give it 5 stars but I think I payed like 22$ and it was the cheapest one they had in stock. Other ones were 30$ and up. If you have more then a patch to do invest in a gun, mud is cheap still.

I ended up with a lot of product falling to the floor with the can less than 12 inches from the wall, especially once the can was about 2/3 empty. I only got about 18 sq ft of heavy texture coverage out of a single can. Not a good value.
