First experience was so-so.
May or may not match current popcorn ceiling well. Had trouble applying anything more than a small amount (i.e., using a 2 inch putty knife), because it was less thick than pre-made sheetrock mud. Need more experience with it to really have a solid opinion.

Near perfect for patching popcorn
I was skeptical when I purchased this especially for the lackluster reviews, but honestly it does a fantastic job. One can of this covers about 1.5 square feet. I had to put about three layers on to get the grit to match the ceiling. After all of that it turned out nearly indistinguishable from the rest of the ceiling.
Use a round brush and dab it on. Looks great.

overall, good for small patches and touch ups.
Would Recommendworked well, easy to apply, recommend applying with a chip brush. The spray blends better, but I am hoping this tub keeps longer.

Allow yourself enough to coat three to four coats
Would Recommendtried to install with a putty knife but it allowed very little texture used a paint brush and this allow more texture but not what I would have liked to see. Should have gotten a bigger size or two tubes and applied additional coats
