Compressor stopped working after 1 summer

I decided to pay much more for this very high end and expensive DC inverter model over the cheaper one and other GE model in June 2023. It worked well two summer season. This past summer 2025, I discovered it wasn't drawing humidity even though the fan is running and controls still seems to work, no error codes. Could be compressor leak. Very disappointed for investing so much money in Hisense that have a produce fail just right after the two year warranty.

Unreliable and company will not fully honor warran

Bought this unit specifically as it had 2 year warranty. However, unit failed after barely 1 year, and they did replace it. The replacement did not even last 2 months. Both failed due to loss of refrigerant. Customer support told me specifically they would not replace the replacement even though it's within the 2 year warranty period. Stops working around 50-55% humidity

Mixed. It uses less energy than a standard dehumidifier and has a better power factor, but it also slows down around 50-55% humidity and never gets below 50%, even when set to 30%. My 9-year old Frigidaire uses more energy, but removes more moisture.

Nosense if you buy Hisense

I purchased this unit, and it was defective from the start. The electronics are cheap and unreliable. Regardless of the mechanical aspects of the unit, the electronics are no better than a 2-dollar watch. My unit displayed error codes out of the box that Hisense customer service said do not exist — that is, after you get past the AI chat bot. Leaking water

Owned unit for five months. Runs but water is leaking from inside the dehumidifier and is a fire hazard.

Died after less than a year...

This dehumidifier was a huge waste of money. I bought this unit for a basement dehumidifier in the summer of 2024. It worked great for a few months. When I I tried to use it in March 2025, it is no longer working. Now, it won't run longer than an hour before showing an E9 error code. From what I find online, an E9 code means that the humidity sensor no longer works. The only way to make it run is to unplug it, wait 10 minutes and plug it back in. And then, it runs for an hour at most. It doesn't...

I bought 3 and they all stopped collecting water within 1 year...do not buy this trash. Lowes needs to find a different product and vender to use.

Great unit so far.

Easy to setup, works great. Bought to replace a dehumidifier that quit working, and our crawlspace was really damp by the time I found out it wasn't working. This unit is bigger than the one I replaced, but it does seem to pull the moisture out quicker. Powerful!

Very powerful and has a built in pump. It can dry my whole house. We bought it when our basement flooded and a smaller unit wasn’t powerful enough.

Quiet, efficient and does the job

Bought two new units to replace two old (10 years) Hisense dehumidifies (still work but too noisy now) They last and last, came back for new ones that run really quiet.

Didn't even last a year

Bought this unit on 12/08/2023 and it no longer pulls water from the air. Went through the warranty process which took about a week for customer service to process. Only for them to call and say they're out of stock and yet I find these on Lowe's website. Now they're sending me a check but the kicker is I have to now wait 2-4 weeks to receive it. Expensive, but efficient and has a pump

Expensive, but hoping it lasts. I needed something for my damp basement and the last cheaper unit I had only lasted two years before the pump died and it wasn't very efficient. So far it's working really well!
