DO NOT BUY!!! These are absolute JUNK!

The studs are the cheapest, weakest metal ever. I got the first of 2 numbers installed OK, but I've had to buy 3 of the second. The studs break when either trying to screw them into the number or when trying to GENTLY tap them into the siding. Since I've already drilled holes, I am forced to go and get a fourth number, but I will be taking the first three back with me.

Bought Twice, Thinking The Screws Were a Fluke

The first time I bought this, I was a little confounded at how easily the screws broke - especially with a higher price tag. Bought a second time thinking maybe it was a fluke the first time and NOPE! They really put cheap plastic-y screws with these numbers. Shame because the actual numbers really look great.

Cheaply Constructed

Didn't read these reviews before I bought and now am regretting buying them - like every one else, the studs broke off immediately when dry-fitting into place.

Bought a bunch and all broke

Bought three of these in different numbers including 1 and all the mounting studs broke! Luckily I'm very good at making things work. I had to make my own mounting studs which really for this price I shouldn't even have to think when putting them up. I would tell everyone thinking about getting these to NOT!

I should have read the reviews first!

As has been stated in previous reviews, the mounting hardware is HORRIBLE. Cheap metal that will NOT take any significant torquing. Broke off 3 mounting screws of a total of 12. Mounting instructions were bogus. If you follow the manufacturer instructions, you'll break off even more. Had to amend the installation to accommodate the flimsy hardware. Should also be noted that the numbers are NOT solid, simply a cast shell. Wouldn't buy this again.

Poor quality hardware

The hardware is made from pot metal and breaks easily. Please make better mounting screws! I would be willing to pay more for a better product

Bad screws

Like all the reviewers i had the same problem with the screws. Luckily only one broke. Letters look great though, nice and modern.

The Worst -Made in CHINA!

The pins are made of cheap pot metal,truly plastic would be stronger. LOWES stop buying cheap products made in china. Now have to wast time on my day off and a Sunday to go address this problem. At $6.00 each number your buyers can most certainly find an American company to manufacture these. Very dissapointed.

Do not buy!

Screws keep on breaking with almost no pressure applied! Numbers look great but means nothing if I can't mount it! Total waste of money!

Terrrible quality

As many others have already stated, these are absolutely terrible quality and are more or less guaranteed to break during install. I read the other reviews, and thought if I was careful enough I could install them without them breaking. Nope. The pins on three numbers in a row broke despite slowly and evenly tapping them in to place with a rubber mallet. Do your research..decent numbers

Did lots of research after I had looked at all the reviews on different sites that sell these. It's true what they say, the back of the screws are poorly constructed. We screwed them on by hand to save ourselves from breaking them. We used the document that comes with the hardware and taped them to the siding to make sure they were evenly distributed. These numbers are terrible. The template is awful and they broke as we installed them. Spend a little more money somewhere else. We wasted $28 on these.

Should not be sold

I do renovation and a customer bought 4 numbers. They are not the nothing but a problem. Yes I installed them after breaking 3 screws and having to use crazy glue to repair the studs. DO NOT buy.

Absolute junk! Screws break in the number and in the wall leaving you with the only option of drilling new holes. Do NOT buy these things!

Shoddy

The numbers themselves are in a nice, modern font and seem to be sturdy /decent quality.....but that's where it ends. The screws given SUCK....I got soooo frustrated when ALL of them broke in some fashion when trying to install. And, to pour salt on the wound, they broke off in the holes so you can't even try again with better hardware. Run, do. Not buy. Inferior quality. Screws do not all fit the holes. Poor quality control. Followed instructions for drilling holes. Holes are almost twice the size they need to be. Numbers fall out of the holes then, breaking the screws.....Garbage,,,Waisted an evening with this junk. Now I have four sets of holes drilled in my freshly painted house.
