What Customers Are Saying
The product has a modern, sleek design that many customers find appealing. However, the quality of the included mounting hardware is a major concern, as it is reported to be delicate and prone to breaking during installation. Some suggest using alternative mounting methods like silicone caulk or industrial glue to secure the numbers, as the provided hardware is unreliable. Despite the hardware issues, most customers are satisfied with the overall appearance of the numbers, especially when used with exterior lighting. Careful installation, such as using a smaller drill bit, is recommended to avoid the hardware breaking.

Would RecommendThey can be seen from the road, in my case that’s 200 ft, one concern; the spacers they provide for “floating “ numbers are really cheap, I dropped one and it broke very easily, wish they would have provided stronger ones
Hillman House Numbers
Would RecommendThese house numbers are attractive. The posts used to secure them and raise them above the mounting surface are low quality, however. The posts (screws) I received had small ridges on them from where they were stamped or molded. I had to chase the threads with a tap-and-die set to avoid damaging the threads in the actual numbers. They're also made of a low-quality metal, which makes them fragile. I had one post break off in the mounting surface after I test fit the numbers. It broke with minimal...

Depressing
Would Not RecommendThese look great in the package but immediately broke when I tried to install them.

Clean, modern look
Would RecommendAdmittedly, I was concerned having read earlier posts on this product. I followed the instructions carefully but used a smaller bit than recommended for the pilot holes and also used a rubber mallet when installing the numbers. Having installed four numbers on each side of the mailbox, eight total, the floating mount looks great. Very pleased overall.
Must have Improved the Mounting Screws
Would RecommendI saw all the terrible reviews on the hardware, but they must have improved it as I was able to install them successfully after following the directions. The mounting screws didn't seem as weak as everyone described them. Worked just fine for me. We'll see how the hold up.
Love the look but cheaply made
Would RecommendBe careful when installing because the screws can break off inside the numbers. My hubby used a rubber mallet to tap the numbers onto our mailbox; out of 8 different numbers, only one was defective... be gentle! They look great however :)
Thank you for your feedback.
Fresh numbers
Would RecommendNo one ever notices the numbers of your house...until you install these...just make sure you take your time and put them on level
Exterior improvement
Would RecommendNo one ever notices the numbers of your house...until you install these...just make sure you take your time and put them on level, if you have patience These come out looking fantastic, especially if you have exterior up lighting.

Don't Buy These!
Would Not RecommendThese numbers are very cheap! The studs broke off in my wall while mounting. They're so fragile I can cut the studs with a pair of scissors. For $6 each they shouldn't be a problem.
Thank you for your feedback.
Looks nice, need to be careful during install
Would RecommendThe studs are weak, so a little WD-40 and finger-tightening (maybe a small pair of needle nose pliers) is needed to keep them from snapping when screwing them into the numbers. They look very nice when installed "floating," but I can't imagine actually drilling the gigantic, deep holes the instructions call for if you want to install them flush. This is actually our second set of these since we had some before re-facing our home, and this install went smoother. They come with paper guides for...
Look good, but poorly made.
Would Not RecommendScrews broke off when attaching before mounting. I didn't read the reviews before buying or mounting. Be very careful.
Thank you for your feedback.
mounting pins are a little bent but otherwise ok
Would RecommendThe mounting pins were a little bent on all of my numbers. I made my own template on a piece of cardboard, drilled the holes slighly large and the numbers pressed into my pine mounting board just fine. Other than the slightly bent pins they were ok to install and look great
Junk
Would Not RecommendThe screws break if you look at them wrong. So sad I found this out after I drilled a bunch of holes in my siding.
Thank you for your feedback.
Good design but be gentle
Would RecommendGreat design but the screws are very delicate. They break easily. I'm pretty sure the screws aren't metal. Metal plastic hybrid.... other than that I love the design and appearance on our home.
Thank you for your feedback.
The WORST!!!
Would Not RecommendMy husband and I picked these up and painted them the first day we owned our home, thinking it'd be a cute and easy way to spruce up the front of the house. We go to install them, and of the four numbers we tried to install, three of them broke before we could even mount the number in place!! We were going for flush instead of floating, so not only are there holes in the exterior wall, there are giant holes to accommodate the ridiculously huge screws. Unreal. So cheap. Do not buy!!!
Thank you for your feedback.
Terrible
Would Not RecommendYeah, I should have looked at the reviews first. The studs will break off, they are very cheap. Do not buy.

pegs break off extremely easily
Would RecommendThese numbers look amazing, but the pegs used to mount them break off if you breath on them. Out of the 6 numbers i've installed, 6 of the pegs have broken off, (practically fell off) in my hands. I actually had to buy an additional number so that I had enough pegs to mount the house numbers I needed. So buyer beware. Be very careful with these when you're mounting them. They're very fragile.
